I re-watch the behind replay a couple times to try to figure out, Sway was definitely not in a great position, but he would have had to overplay the post to save that
Swayman has been pretty bad for a few games now, no idea what it is, but constantly out of position or over committing. It's the same issue he had early last year but seemed to fix it. It's back again.

Yeah this is the first game I've watched completely in a couple weeks, he definitely doesn't look right. The first goal tonight I was surprised he let in, he had no chance on the 2nd, and while I don't think he really had a chance on the 3rd he was playing it too far out. I was going to say in the first that a couple of times Sway was lucky he didn't get scored on being out of position or not feeling the game right. I figured he was just having an off night, his positioning coupled with little wasted movement are what make him great. Sucks to hear it's not a just this game thing, hopefully he figures it out in time

His mechanics have been completely shot for a while now, it's really odd. I'm starting to wonder if he's nursing a minor injury or something

Can't gift wrap goals for competition like this. Bruins did it twice tonight. (And I'm not talking about the ENG.)

"most of them are blue and red"
You fucking think so Jack? Not a lotta Bruins fans tossing hats for a Rangers hat trick?
Huh.

You know, I was going to make a joke about how at least he got the sentence out right while admitting I feel dirty joking like that, but I wanted to go back and re-listen to be sure and nope, he did not get it out clean, couldn't quite nail the mouthful of a word as "his"

This was it. The Bruins didn’t play great but they gave them the first two goals and then the third was just a mess from Lindholm and Swayman. This was a winnable game despite not playing great if they didn’t directly contribute to two goals.

Man I hope you're right in that he's dinged up, because what I saw tonight felt way more mental
A couple of week ago we were hearing rumors that they were getting close on a contract. It’s been crickets ever since, and he started slipping. I wonder if that’s messing with his head.

Against a team that clogs the neutral zone like the Rangers do, some of Pasta’s ill-conceived no-look back passes and allergy to dumping the puck deep play so much worse. And Marchand is snakebite as fuck physically right now. Struggling really bad.

They needed a heavy forecheck and got nothing.

They showed Marchand is some pain last game on the bench. Looked lower body. He didn’t miss a shift because that’s just him, but I wonder if a couple games off before the playoffs would help him bounce back a little bit.

His mechanics have looked off since the All-Star break, so it could definitely be mental, but he's back to the shit mechanics that occasionally plagued him two years ago and beginning of last season. He fixed them last year and was excellent and was excellent to start the year, but he's been off for a while now, so mental or minor injury or whatever something is definitely wrong.
