Early entry of Reyes into the game hurt, though he did get a base hit in the 7th.Need Wilyer to hit for Dalbec if you get there

I’m a traditionalist but I’ve come around. It’s time. The only consolation will be in seeing the umpire's scorecard plumb new depths of incompetence. Robots Now!
Two pitches in a row in the same AB. Oof!I hate when an ump blows a crucial AB.
Also, we're not gonna lose a lot of games 1-0.
like most sports leagues, they’ll take waaaaaay too long to adjust (eg pitch clock)At least MLB is actually trying to solve it. (ABS). Cant say the same for the NFL or NBA which has burried its head in the sand believing its officials are perfectly fine
That's not good. On the other hand, the next two batters were very lame. No chance.
Not to mention how many pitches he cost Pivetta. Disgustingly putrid.FUCK
Congrats! Level 50.Welp. Just turned 50 years old a few minutes ago. Bummer.
While true. Mlb and the mlbpa wants to make sure the ABS is close to perfect before rolling it out to mlb. ( thus the testing phase in the minors). The nfl “tried” to use replay for pi. And then scrapped it after one year instead of trying to fix the issues. Mlb was literally the last professional league to institute any replay. And they are already more “technologically advanced” than the NHL/NBA/nfl wrt to getting rid of almost all possible “human elements” for officiating gaffes.like most sports leagues, they’ll take waaaaaay too long to adjust (eg pitch clock)
In fairness, the player and ump unions make it hard to drive change
Not signing a legitimate RH bench bat is just inexcusable.Speaking of 50, Bobby Dalbec has nearly a 50% K rate over his last 100ish PAs. Just awful.
He better hope Chase Meidroth doesn't get off to a hot start in Worcester.Speaking of 50, Bobby Dalbec has nearly a 50% K rate over his last 100ish PAs. Just awful.
He never threw him a strike. Wow. IDK that I've ever seen a chart like this.
Defense and positional versatility and looking good swinging and spring training he’s Hank AaronHow is he still in baseball?
A K is less bad than a GIDPSpeaking of 50, Bobby Dalbec has nearly a 50% K rate over his last 100ish PAs. Just awful.
As someone well past that point, all I can tell you is that there are many, many wonderful years ahead. Best wishes to you.Welp. Just turned 50 years old a few minutes ago. Bummer.
I was bummed about turning 40 a few weeks ago, and a friend who had suffered a lot of loss told me something that put that in perspective:Welp. Just turned 50 years old a few minutes ago. Bummer.
Sorry i missed youI'm going to be at the game tonight, are any other members going tonight?
Well, we have the same hitting coaches doing the same things with him, as Cora uses him in the same ways. Yay?!?!Speaking of 50, Bobby Dalbec has nearly a 50% K rate over his last 100ish PAs. Just awful.
In Bailey We Trust.Bello + Pivetta:
11.0 ip, 8 h, 3 r, 3 er, 0 bb, 12 k, 2.45 era, 1.00 whip, 9.8 k/9
I’ll take that.
I started a thread on the main board for ump discussion.Remind me, when do the ump scorecards get posted?
Of the Heisenberg Principle? Would actually have to be his ghost.Heisenberg doing MLB commercials?
It's on MLBN tonight, maybe because it's the only game at exactly the start time of 6:40 Pacific. Can we not have a fuckin night game again?
I don’t even know if I’ll be alive tomorrow! It's on MLBN tonight, maybe because it's the only game at exactly the start time of 6:40 Pacific.
Edit: Sunday is an afternoon game. Monday and Tuesday at Oakland, 6:40 Pacific, Wednesday at 12:37. Oakland will send some kid(s) out to the mound we never heard of and he will stifle our ass. Sorry for looking so far ahead.
