Brick asked Cassidy about McAvoy. He cracked a smile, said something like "as advertised, man" then caught himself and gave some bland analysis. But just for a second, he was like "holyfuckingshithe'sonmyteam."

19 years old and 19th season. In 19 years, it'll be McAvoy played with Chara who played with.......And it'll be 3 degrees to Eddie shore.
Chara played on the 97/98 Isles with Mike Hough, who played on the 86/87 Nords with Pat Price, who played on the 76/77 Isles with JP Parise, who played on the 66/67 Bruins with Johnny Bucyk, who played on the 57/58 Bruins with Johnny Pierson, who played on the 46/47 Bruins with Bill Cowley, who played with Eddie Shore.

This game was awesome. The nutpunch goal being scored by King Nutpunch himself was the icing on the cake.

I'm still trying to process mcavoys game. Even Ken Dryden had a few regular season games before the playoffs.

Between here and everywhere.
If C. Miller ends up being ok..., has McAvoy earned himself a role on the ice even when everyone is healthy?

Chara/Carlo
Krug/McQuaid
Liles/McAvoy

K.Miller/C.Miler?

Not sure how you pull him from the lineup after his performance tonight, and with already having burned a year - might as well get him as much experience as possible.

Tonight was very good for McAvoy, but let's see what he does going forward. Krug's likely not playing Saturday, either, so he'll still be in regardless.

McAvoy stays in until he plays himself out. Kevan gets a lot of hate but had himself a pretty decent season this year and looked really good tonight as well. Liles can sit, and I would probably put Colin in above Carlo who struggled down the stretch as well.

*edit - to be clear, this assumes full health of the D corps which I don't think will be the case. Have a feeling Krug is going to be out for a bit*

If Miller, Krug and Carlo can't go on Saturday, the B's probably need to call up a D. They're carrying Morrow around but he hasn't played in the NHL since January. Had a 3 game conditioning stint in Providence right before the deadline, but has been completely idle since then. I don't know if they'd want to throw him in being that cold.

I'd rather give Cross a shot. Morrow's as good as a non-tender at this point

Too early to start the Ray Ray comparisons? Unreal poise and vision at his age. Smooth skater who seems very capable in every zone.

Sorry I think I need to see the Dr. been way over 4 hours.
