Didn’t Cora and the trainer come out in his last start to check on him? He was moving his left leg after a pitch. Could be that.

I haven’t bothered to learn the blocking rule, but my thought was that kicking out the left leg was probably not kosher.
Yeah, the kick kind of looks unnecessary. It didn't look like a natural motion to try to tag. But if the ump doesn't call it, I'm not sure why reply does. He did make contact with the leg. Maybe that matters.

I have completed a deep analysis of the team. Stats, charts, and a thorough review of every pitch this year.
My conclusion: They stink.

I‘m starting to wonder if he may just step down, take a job on TV somewhere, and then get hired next season.
