JoJo allowed his 1st earned run of the season (0.90 ERA), but Salem held on for a 3-1 victory.

Nelly T was 2-4 with a double.

Andy Lugo was 1-3 with a double & a walk.

Steinbaugh ruined this by allowing a run on 3 hits in the 8th.

Cade Feeney struck out the side in the 9th & has been quite good lately after a rough start (I will now go back & check & see if my memory of this is accurate...).

Theo Denlinger got through a scoreless 7th, but they decided they wanted to live dangerously & brought him back out for the 8th & he allowed 2 runs. He seems like a fun guy with a cool story...but he turns 28 in July & has been struggling mightily in AA (7.45 ERA this year), so not sure how much longer he'll be around if this isn't something fixable.

Portland lost 4-3.

Karson Simas improbably had another multihit game in Worcester, 2-4. Who needs to play well in A-Ball, High-A, or play at all in AA?

Meidroth was 1-3 with 2 walks.

Alvarez was 1-4 with a homer.

Kolozsvary was 1-4.

Sogard was 0-3 with 2 walks.

Westbrook was 0-3 with a walk & an hbp.

Mayer was 2-5.

Blaze & Lugo were each 1-4 with a homer.
