The only thing I'd eat a log over is if this is actually an ankle injuryIs it possible that Porzingis is cramping?
Anything is possible. Is it possible that Porzingis is cramping?
He had ice on his leg earlier and he’s got his leg taped up. So, maybe? Looked bad though. Is it possible that Porzingis is cramping?
I thought KP stepped on the back of Herro's footDidn’t look ankle to me but I’m not a Twitter doctor
I would be fine with seeing both of them get minutes in the second half. And for Hauser to get back to hitting some 3s.I would be fine with Tillman coming in to knock Bam into the third row.
Win tonight and then wrap it up in 5. And then have Cavs/Magic go the full seven.I feel like this team can still fairly easily get out of the East without KP, so kids gloves please
This is not how sports work.I think KP Durant’d himself. Goddamn malpractice not taking him out when he started limping. They had 2-3 stoppages but asleep at the wheel.
He's so good in the post, and yet he seems reluctant to work down there.I'd really like to see Tatum receive the ball on the block
Didn't see that but let's hope that is all it is. Sure didn't look like that was the actual injury though.I thought KP stepped on the back of Herro's foot
Did he do something on an earlier possession? It seems like there’s absolutely nothing there.View: https://twitter.com/ChrisForsberg_/status/1785104908313583672
Doesn't look like an ankle, but I'm no doctor.
That’s not the injury. He came up gimpy a few plays earlier.View: https://twitter.com/ChrisForsberg_/status/1785104908313583672

Think the concern is more about down the road than this series. This might be an unpopular opinion, but the Celtics with AL instead of KP are more able to lock down the Heat. Take a week off and heal up.
Problem with that is we had the late starting series and 3 days off between games so the other series are a game ahead. Not much time between series.I'm guessing (hoping?) calf strain. Problem with that is it exposes the achilles to injury until fully healed. They need to win this game, take care of business at home and get him some time off.
I don’t think that many would disagree that Horford is a better defender than Porzingis. He should take as much time as he needs to heal but hopefully it’s less than a month. This might be an unpopular opinion, but the Celtics with AL instead of KP are more able to lock down the Heat. Defense has been really good outside of some early casual closeouts (which Miami missed).Need to play a lot better in the second half, this lead is a bit of a mirage. It’s all White.
i’d disagree. zinger is a much more impactful rim deterrentI don’t think that many would disagree that Horford is a better defender than Porzingis. He should take as much time as he needs to heal but hopefully it’s less than a month.
Yea they showed it a few times, he twisted his ankle the first time he grabbed his legDidn't see that but let's hope that is all it is. Sure didn't look like that was the actual injury though.
Yeah this says left ankle which probably was what originally happened the first time he came up gimpy. The second one is his right and much more concerning.
That won’t continue. Celts had 14 points in the last 10 minutes. They continue like that they will lose.Miami has 36 f'n points. 36!
I mean, that and the fact that they held their opponent to 36 points.Need to play a lot better in the second half, this lead is a bit of a mirage. It’s all White.
Silver lining I suppose is that "doubtful to return" is infinitely more hopeful than "out."Official Celtics word is calf tightness
Miami wicked stinks though. Celtics can play better but they are in ok shape.Need to play a lot better in the second half, this lead is a bit of a mirage. It’s all White.
Right but the second time wasn’t his ankle though. That was calf or Achilles. He was fine after the ankle turn then the non-contact pull up happened.Yea they showed it a few times, he twisted his ankle the first time he grabbed his leg
Solid contests on D plus they were due for some reversion. The Heat are throwing up a lot of bricks: 3 of 16 three-point shots is a sorry display.
mostly the latterThis is a sincere question… when Miami goes unconscious from 3 I read a lot of “what can you do?” type comments. But now when they’re 3-16 they’ve been “held”.
So what is it? Do the Cs affect shooting, or is it all “make or miss”?
Calf is probably next series, too, but that should be ok, if it’s low grade. If it’s his calf, give him the rest of the series off and count your blessings. They could beat the Cavs without it him too, if need be. Rest until ECF.
If Boston is contesting the way they should be and the shots are going in, there is in fact nothing else we can do. But that's not what happened in Game 2 (or even last year) when it seemed like they couldn't miss. This is a sincere question… when Miami goes unconscious from 3 I read a lot of “what can you do?” type comments. If it's a calf strain you're probably looking at 1-2 weeks if it's mild, 3-6 if it's seriousIf it’s his calf, give him the rest of the series off and count your blessings. They could beat the Cavs without it him too, if need be. Rest until ECF.
