Show me a rule where you get whistled for a foul after the play? I believe it can only be a technical post-whistle.
And if they do it in a blatantly dangerous way they deserve the the fucking flagrant that's going to get called on them.

Celtics are going to win a game by close to 20 points where Tatum shot 5/14, Brown shot 7/18, and KP missed most of the second half.

I had to watch SVG take a team with Michael Finley and Rashard Griffith and drive it into a ditch my freshman (and, thankfully, Stan’s only) year in Madison. I think I’m more disgusted by him tonight.
As about a billion other posters have noted - not like that. They throw up a half assed hand. They dont jump into a player who isnt expecting hard contact and encroach their landing space. There is a reason why that behavior is a flagrant.

I'm usually on the side of "the refs aren't screwing us" but tonight... woof, some blatant fouls not called and then soft stuff at the other end, majority favoring MIA.
I agreed that this was a flagrant while the review was going on. Every player contests post-whistle shots…..Jesus F, our own coach blocked a shot and wants them to do it!
What the fuck in is Wright going for down 16 with 93 seconds? Couldn't take out Tatum's ankle so go for the knees?
All contests are not created equal, and hard close contests are not at all common
Section IV—Flagrant Foul
- If contact committed against a player, with or without the ball, is interpreted to be unnecessary, a flagrant foul—penalty (1) will be assessed. A personal foul is charged to the offender and a team foul is charged to the

NBA players don’t contest into guys to block practice shots. Bam chose not to elevate to contest the slow release shot by Tatum well after the whistle but to slide into and under Tatum. He chose to do that.
Dude our coach came on the floor to block a shot. Imagine if Spo did this and Tatum landed on him? Could you imagine this place?
