Now that I have a moment to respond to this, you can seriously question the parenting that took place last night from where you sat? Kid gets the thrill of his young life and you think that not letting him enjoy the moment or the rest of the game is the way to go? Publicly putting the kid's family on the spot on live TV is horseshit. Maybe good parenting involves letting the kid enjoy his moment without pressure and having a conversation about the meaning of this to Yoshida later.

Think of the gaels of unrestrained laughter we would've been treated to if Orsillo and Rem were still here, though. Maybe NESN was trying to recreate that magic. I mean, remember the time that one drunk asshole threw a slice of pizza at another drunk asshole? That was television, and Boston sports, gold.
