Throwing 92-94 instead of 97-98 helps with more innings but makes everything he throws feel a little less sharp.Whitlock’s pitch counts get too high too early. Just need to find ways to get quicker outs. Easier said than done, of course.

Sure, if they average 4+ IP all year. But it’s the second time through. Some efficiency and longevity gains can be expected. Can’t argue with the results so far.I don't think you're gonna like what this does to the bullpen over the bulk of the season
