The Lone Bello has been lowering his ERA with each outing. Let the trend continue against Undecided tonight. Oh, and bats do your thing too.
Mrs. Ballgame and I will be in attendance. Please do not suck.
In case y'all don't live around Atlanta and don't want to pay ballpark prices for food, there's a really good taco place and a ramen/sushi place by the Goodwill near the stadium on 41. If you want great Neopolitan pizza, hit up Antico in the Battery. For amazing barbecue, go to Heirloom Barbecue. It's down on Akers Mill about 10 minutes from the Battery.I will be there as well with my son. Stoked that I get to see Bello.
Thanks for the recommendations. My son and I went on opening day against the Padres and my son wanted ramen. You should check out Heirloom. It's a mixture of American with Korean thrown in on many dishes. The owners are from Texas and S Korea. Order anything with the kimchi cole slaw on it and you will not be disappointed. Thanks for the recommendations. My son and I went on opening day against the Padres and my son wanted ramen. Thanks for the tip. We recently moved to Ringgold, GA from LA and we don't know fuck all about Atlanta! In case y'all don't live around Atlanta and don't want to pay ballpark prices for food, there's a really good taco place and a ramen/sushi place by the Goodwill near the stadium on 41. Are you still in culture shock? Thanks for the tip. We recently moved to Ringgold, GA from LA and we don't know fuck all about Atlanta!
Insert "Turner Field" joke here.Turner's first appearance at third for Boston.
Yes.Insert "Turner Field" joke here.
Comparing the line ups: Are the Braves clearly better than the Sox in all 9 spots?
Feels like a reverse lock.
Hope so.
Devers and Riley is probably close to a push, especially with Riley scuffling.Insert "Turner Field" joke here.

This one has the same melancholy flavor that I'm feeling today -maybe work related? and maybe I'm projecting?Game 38
Pivetta pitched poorly, (He often does)
and we lost 9 to 3 partly because
we left lots of runners stranded on base.
Our two-for-Tuesday was quite a disgrace.
The brutal, crucial game 5 by the C’s
was not even close. (Like Al Horford’s threes.)
So, I type this poem, grumpy and tired,
with hopes Wednesday night leaves me inspired
to write a creative, colorful poem
on Friday when our Red Sox return home,
and a more epic one on Saturday
if the Celtics have game seven to play.
For now, like the Celts, I’ll phone this one in,
rest up and refresh and hope for a win.
I think the reference was specific to Devers not being in the lineup tonightDevers and Riley is probably close to a push, especially with Riley scuffling.
I have felt down since the Celts game. Trying to muster excitement for the Sox today and will hopefully enjoy the distraction. Work is always a bummer here - still busy here at nearly 5. I have no community of poets here in Central Florida though I connect with several playwrights via email groups and Facebook. These days, my only writing are SOSH poems and posts, but I am fond of both activities, even in the melancoly moments. This one has the same melancholy flavor that I'm feeling today -maybe work related? and maybe I'm projecting?
Thanks again. And I know a few playwrights here in Austin, TX that I met when I lived up in Brooklyn..... just wondering how close of a community you all are? More avant garde/meta-fiction/surreal type of stuff. Performed in a parking lot elevator....
Just paid $62. I am a rube. Are you still in culture shock?
There's $10 parking on Herodian Way. It's a short walk to the stadium from there.
As to the culture shock, it’s been an awesome experience. Getting out of LA was the best thing for us. We traded in 1/2 acre for 10 acres so plenty of room for the horses, dogs and goats. Everyone is very friendly and we don’t catch much shit for our liberalism.[Are you still in culture shock?

Cool. And you're close to Chattanooga which has a lot to offer for food and entertainment. As to the culture shock, it’s been an awesome experience. Getting out of LA was the best thing for us. But they'd catch shit there for their liberalismCool. And you're close to Chattanooga which has a lot to offer for food and entertainment.
I have a niece living in Sewanee, which is about a half=hour from Chattanooga. They find lots of congenial people out there, and they are liberals. But they'd catch shit there for their liberalism
Kike could use some break out as well.Feeling a Casas breakout any game now... it's been slowly looking better.
