Richard Fitts got pulled on the 4th inning after 56 innings while pitching fine...

The fact that Luis Guerrero came in for the 4th & stayed in for the 5th makes me feel like it was planned & not a big deal.

Maybe either trying to keep his workload light in a week they are using him for the 2nd time (he pitched on Tuesday) or maybe they need him in Boston soon.

JDE left with 2 outs & a runner on the 1st in the 5th. Gabe Jackson walked a guy, but got out of the inning & is back in for the 6th with a 8-2 lead.

Felix Cepeda pitched the 9th. He allowed a 2-out double, but picked up the save.

Blaze was 1-4 with a double.

Roman & Teel were 1-4.

Yorke, Gasper & Sikes each had a walk.

This year he has 7 in 74 PAs.

WooSox were facing old friend Max Castillo for the 2nd time this week.

In those 2 games he allowed 13 runs in 6.1 innings. I guess it's pretty clear why they let him go.

Ronald Rosario was 2-5 with a double.

Adón did the exact same thing in the 9th & Worcester won 11-1.

As mentioned, Valdez was 4-4 with 3 doubles, a walk & 2 steals.

Meidroth was 2-4 with a homer, a double & a walk.

Dalbec was 1-2 with a homer & 3 walks.

Romy was 3-5 with 3 rbi & a steal.

Marvin Alcantara is 3-3. He is a homer away from the cycle & has 3 of the 7 hits for both teams combined.

Steinbaugh allowed 1 run in 3 innings.

Royman Blanco allowed a hit & struck out a batter in a scoreless 9th for his 2nd save.

Salem won 3-1.

Marvin Alcantara was 3-4 with a triple & a double.

Miguel Bleis was 2-4.

Nelly Taylor was 1-4 with a double.

AA, Jhostynxon & Tucker each walked. Tucker had a steal & an error, too.
