If he can learn the spot and hit better than the myriad of players we’ve tried there, a few awkward moments will be worth it.
Why do other teams get to blithely score zillions of two-out runs while we go 1 for a zillion with runners in scoring position? I hate the baseball gods.

He’s been fine, but is there a reason Romy is playing 1b and not Cooper? Is the idea that Smith will PH for Romy once Sale is out of the game?
All this really just means that we need to start playing shitty teams for fucking once this year. [Nationals on tap this weekend, thankfully.]
I did get to watch a king snake go into one of the chipmunk condos in the yard today. Haven't seen one since.
Sure, if you only glance at the standings. But the Sox have played a much tougher schedule than them, scored 20+ more runs and let up 30 less runs.
The Sox have had a really, really brutal schedule so far, outside of, like the Angels series.
The A’s are improved, but not great. Giants aren’t very good. The Sox haven’t played any of the 3-4 terrible teams though.
The Giants aren't great, but the Sox also faced Webb and Harrison, two very good pitchers, in that series.
I don't think the Sox are going to run away with the ALWC or anything, but calling the Nats "just one game worse" than them is kind of missing some data points, I think.
I get you but they swept the A’s who are not as bad as we thought, and the Pirates who are on the verge of suckitude.
They have wasted great pitching by playing lousy defense and having a sort of boom or bust offense.
That is grand. I have had to take down the orange feeders that I put up for the orioles b/c the chipmunks are eating them. Of course, I would too, if I were they, but I'm not, so there.

So, the TVs in the press box at the Braves park are blacked out because of the Bally-Comcast/Xfinity stand-off. I guess Xfinity is the provider for the park. And Xfinity has a huge office building in The Battery.
Because we try to hit it hard and in the air, even though that does not work.
The most favorable thing I see for Chris is that our hitters are chasing pitches outside the zone.
