Sean mcdonough is so good at weaving in very valid complaints and criticisms without being too dramatic

I don't oversee the team. You guys do and are threatening some consequences if Bloom isn't hanged by sunrise.

This team is clearly improved from last year with good young cost controlled pieces, is that not accurate? Does spending oodles of money on seasoned FAs for their past production promise a better outcome? The Steve Cohen owned Mets - and he is a very shrewd person - would tell you otherwise.
I don’t care about any of that. I care about being competitive for a World Series however it happens. This team clearly isn’t there. I’m not willing to give management 10+ years to make that happen with the resources this franchise gives them.

On that we can agree but I look at a club with Wong behind the plate, Casas at first, Story at SS, Devers at 3B (I am willing to ride with him there) and and OF of Masa, Duran and their other young OF prospects coming as something brewing. If they can add the right pieces to round out their IF, line-up and staff - something all teams need to do every offseason - they are right there imo. I am pretty bullish on 2024 actually.

Then we should accept that this team will be the garbage pre 2004 and never invest any time or energy into it.
They hired Bloom to implement a player development pipeline to provide sustainable cost controlled young talent.

Firing him before any players from his first draft could reasonably be expected to contribute at the major league level would be extremely short sighted.

During the 2024 season I think it’s reasonable to expect some contributions from the 2020 draft and later.

I’m sure the Dodgers really regret breaking the bank to have two of the three leading NL MVP candidates at the top of the lineup. Meanwhile I’m still here waiting for Chaim to use the financial flexibility that we were promised was the real asset gained in the Mookie trade.

How many WS have the Dodgers won with this payroll?

Ah yes, of course they would have hit those home runs had they started the inning down 5-2 ... and in some universe, they did.

Yes it is. If the MLB team is in the same position after 2024, then maybe it’s time to look at Bloom, I just think it’s too early now. He was hired for a long term plan.
