Is your metric games, innings, or effort? What? How many games are they playing today??
He does not fold under pressure. He rhymes.Impressive as always, @LynnRice75, particularly with very little turnaround time.
Not for long we don't.Fighting to stay out of last place is something worthwhile to watch. We have a one game lead over the MFY’s.
By which team?I can't decide if that's white flagging it or not.
Writing under a tight deadline. Most impressive! Plus it’s spot-on. Kudos!Game 145
What the hell, Verdugo? Why did you swing?
The Yankees were scared and trying to cling
to a one-run lead. It’s clear you could bring
in the tying run if you would just sling
the bat on your shoulder, and yet you fling
it at the first pitch, and we watch you ding
into a double-play, taking the zing
out of our rally. You won’t get a wing
in our Hall of Fame as a Comeback-King
or hear any of our fans stand and sing
your praises because you made that loss sting.
(Not that this game really means anything.)
Has your common sense been blinded by bling?
No need to worry ‘bout adding a ring.
How long before some troll starts using "Last Place Chaim" as a member name?Fortunately short of a several team improbable collapse, the Yankees still won’t make the playoffs. That’s all that matters. If we get a better draft position than them that’s fine.
But we will very likely end up in last for another Chaim Bloom special year.
Yankees 4-9 or us?I can't decide if that's white flagging it or not.
Shhh. Somehow it's not blacked out for me.Wish more Red Sox games were on TBS
OptimistKutter Crawford doing his thing again. He is not going to make it to the 4th inning.

Reading the opening lines I thought of "Sexy Sadie" by the Beatles.Game 145
