The wrong side of the bridge....
Can anyone point me to a source for calculating the likely impact of BABIP differences on doubles and triples? I.e., if player X has better BABIP luck than player Y (or player X has better luck in season P than in season Q), the vast majority of that difference probably shows up in the singles column, but a small piece of it presumably shows up in the doubles column, and an even smaller (in most cases probably negligible) portion in the triples column. I bet somebody has calculated that, but I can't find it on the web. Thanks for any help!
