The cradle of the game.
I think I heard that 3 out of 28 teams have overcome a 2-0 since the LCS went to 7 games: '85 Royals, '85 Cardinals, '04 Red Sox*

* Overcame 3-0 deficit, if you can believe that shit.

I'm not going to be celebratory about the outcome of any game until the Yanks are lying on the alter with a stake through their heart at midnight under a full moon.
Not even the.

There has to be dust ... lots of dust

Can someone smarter than me post the strike zone graphics for the first two games? Part of the Yankees success has been built on working counts, but it feels like the zone has been stretched these first two games.

I'm curious if that's true or if I just need to take my pinstripe colored glasses off. Or maybe it's been bigger for both teams.

Thanks in advance.

Instead of signing Jonathan Papelbon, they traded Josh Reddick for Andrew Bailey and Jed Lowrie for Mark Melancon.
The Bailey thread was awful. And he basically spent two years on the DL.

But they gave up way too soon on Melancon.

Anyone think they should have outbid the Phillies for Papelbon?

Per Close Call Sports
- 10/13 NYY@HOU Gm 1: Chad Fairchild: pfx. 104/104 Balls + 45/49 Strikes = 149/153 = 97.4%. +0.
- 10/14 NYY@HOU Gm 2: Hunter Wendelstedt: pfx. 72/73 Balls + 44/47 Strikes = 116/120 = 96.7. +0.

Picking who’s going to win, ARod picks yankees of course while flashing his 09 ring like a weapon. Papi said “I’ve got something for that ring, you wanna see it?” Pretty sure that’s what he said.

I want the Astros to win this game just to see the graphic flashed tomorrow:

"Teams down 0-3 are 1-35*
*2004, Boston"

Has anyone else mentioned yet how much they would like to punch Gardner in the face?

So, I'm reading the last few pages, and it seems like you all are actually thinking you don't know how this is going to end.

How precious.
