Joe really needs to talk with the guys on how we are defending the perimeter. LOT of miscommunication going on.

Despite the turnover, that was a pretty cool final two minutes. It's going to take a lot for Miami to replicate that half this series and they didn't even win the half.

Holiday with his dumb turnover of the game ... oh well, got it out of his system.

So if you’re the Heat, you just played an almost ideal half. Threes are falling, some C’s starters having an off night, crowd lethargic for most of the half.

And you’re losing.

Find something else to do, man. The last few minutes is what I expect from him, not the passive dribbling into defenders he was doing before that.

I've watched/defended/boosted him all season as you should be fully aware of, so you're really going in for no reason than to have something to pick at.
But you're going after one of the players that's actually keeping the C's in the game... but it's all good.

Well, Miami kept shooting 55% from three but got fewer attempts at least. Celtics didn’t create any separation but this still feels like a game we have control of despite Miami shooting at an unsustainable level. I’ll take that, and also would rather Miami have this type of first half in Boston than in Miami.

Are you serious? You posted something dumb then doubled down and got up in arms when you were called out.
Maybe add qualifiers or something but don’t pull this act

He wasn't, though. Until now, which is what we needed from our All NBA guard. If you want to argue his 4-8 was Jaylen level, have at it.

Gotta shoot that, no time to hit Jaylen in the corner even with a good pass.
I don’t think he had a good look and tried to force a window that would’ve led to a much better shot. He probably was in position for a maybe 20% shot attempt so I can’t blame him for trying to find something better in a situation where a turnover is the same as a miss.

Heat are doing a really good job getting the Cs to overhelp and making the extra pass on the perimeter, Cs need to adjust how they're rotating off of shooters.

Dude…4-8 is not NEARLY bad enough to post on a public board “I am waiting for Jaylen to enter the building”. At the time you posted that, he was the second best player on the Celtics (eye test and box score)

I mean, if you want to say “he hasnt been bad but we need more” that’s pretty different than “I am waiting for him to enter the building”.

Yeah there was no great look to be had there. The steal preventing Miami from going down the floor was good shit. Anything on our end would have been lucky.

Heat are 13-24 from 3. Nice job weathering the storm.

Ok. I honestly don't know what to expect from him.. I thought I saw him going to the hoop a bunch within the flow of the game.

I think we can both agree he had a very nice end to the half and if KP picks it up in the second it should be a W for game 2.

The Celtics are up by 3 and the Heat are 13-24 from 3 and Shaq is taking about how they are definitely going to steal this game.

He has been awful for years now. He was amusing when he started but he’s been low effort awful takes for a while.

Only 12 assists on 24 buckets for Boston, with no player with more than 3 assists. Got to move bodies and the ball do Mismi can’t jam the line and squeeze the lane. Boston is only 16-27 in the paint.

I’m listening to him and I can’t fathom how anyone could be this stupid.

I guess he’s just a Heat homer because he won a title with them? I mean, it has to be something like that because I don’t think anyone could really believe the shit he’s spewing

To reiterate, Shaq is continuously stating (and arguing) that the Heat are obviously going to steal this game…..because the Celtics live and die by the 3.
Not a single mention of the Heat going 13-24 from 3 in that half. This guy gets paid millions to do this

Shaq's one an only point about the Celts.. which he repeats ad nauseam is that they lose when they miss threes.. and that they rely too much on the three.. guy hasn't watched this team at all this year. he's still talking about the C's of the last few years.
