Wake me when Matt Ryan is at the podium addressing how, as a hero, he could let hs fans down.

Seriously? This costs draft picks? I thought every dome team was doing this.
The very first thing that entered my mind as well.njnesportsfan said:What about Seattle?
It definitely happened in the 2006 AFCCG.Silverdude2167 said:Isn't it known the Colts did this in 2006, or was that just a rumor?

Media: Is Belichick involved? No? Eh, just bury it somewhere in the back of the sports headlines.
The Public: We do not give a flying fuck. The Falcons are terrible.
So it's against the rules to literally "make some noise"?

What about NE piping in noise? Seems to me they should be looked at (this is sarcasm)
Yup. The NFL is fast becoming Shakespeare for people who don't read much. Once the theatrics become larger than the on-field game, we've gone full WWE.LuckyBen said:
Is it really though?
The NFL really seems like a soap opera right now. Drama pops up at every turn and you say no way this happens in real life, right?
Remember when the crowd noise suddenly went "wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa-wa" about fifty times?Ed Hillel said:It definitely happened in the 2006 AFCCG.

Edit: I think that was a later game.
It's legit in that the stadium was designed to maximize crowd noise. I've only been to one game there, but the fans did not seem any more fervent than in other NFL cities. Difference is, most of the crowd at Qwest has a steel roof over them and a damn good product to cheer for.LuckyBen said:

One of my best friends was at that game, he told me he thought crowd noise was being pumped in and also that the stadium got extremely hot at halftime. Everyone was sweating.CaptainLaddie said:
It was in the Pats/Colts game in 2007, I think.

But it sounds like it was a glitch on TV?
Tito's Pullover said:Maybe as recompense for letting the Patriots twist in the wind all week, Goodell is going to slowly and systematically take away everyone's first round pick for various insignificant violations, thus defaulting the Patriots the #1 overall pick through attrition.
I'll take that over an apology.
I agree on this. It's either an obtuse apology to the Pats by not having them singled out and/or if the Falcons lose a draft pick, then it establishes precedent and the Pats will lose a draft pick as well if the NFL finds any wrong-doing. Losing a pick would be a terrible loss, obviously, as I'm hoping we take an OL or DL in the first round and re-establish either unit with a blue-chipper.DrewDawg said:
You guys are missing the point.
It's so now we can't say "only the Pats get busted for shit".

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/11/complaints-begin-about-browns-brazenly-exploiting-loophole/As noted earlier by Gantt, future Browns quarterbacks coach Kevin O’Connellcurrently is working with quarterback Marcus Mariota. Since the Browns haven’t officially hired O’Connell yet, the eventual employee can do things that he couldn’t do if he weren’t currently an employee.
“So let me get this straight,” a high-level executive with another team told PFT on Wednesday morning. “The Browns can have their quarterbacks coach in waiting work with a player, teach him the entire offense, etc., but we can’t even talk to any potential draft pick until the Combine per league rules? Something is wrong here.”

EDIT:
And, holy shit, the Browns will have drafted a QB:
1st Round: 2015, 2014, 2012, and 2007.
3rd Round: 2010, 2005.
