This is a real “not him” performance by Lamar. Bad decisions, absolutely no touch on anything. Really rough. Even if the OC has failed him, that play for example is 100% on the QB. Simply a throw you cannot make if you are even remotely processing what is happening on the field

Force Lamar Jackson into a pocket passer, and he turns into Mac Jones. Must be frustrating for Ravens fans when it seems to be their freaking game plan to have him throw deep contested passes.

He threw the ball a thousand miles behind a triple covered receiver, a flag would have been historically bad.

Probably pass interference but agree with the no call. Dont bail out Lamar when he’s throwing into a triple coverage

LOL the replay showed the complete opposite of what Skeltor was saying. Receiver got hit before the ball got there, plain as day

this offensive game plan is crazy. bomb bomb bomb bomb.
It’ll be our game plan most weeks if we draft Jayden Daniels, who either bombs it every play or takes off running.

I hope this is a lesson that great athleticism rarely beats great scheme come playoff time.

(And yes, I know Mahomes is a great athlete too, but KC’s offensive and defensive schemes have been HOF-worthy this playoff run)

He’s not even being forced which is the strangest part. He’s just choosing not to use his superpower.

I remember reading a quote way back when (possibly apocryphal) about someone asking Lee Trevino if he ever choked. He said “of course, but I look around and I see everyone choking worse. That’s how I’m able to win golf tournaments.”

That’s the feeling I had about the Brady Pats (particularly in the 2010s) and I’m starting to get that feeling about the Chiefs now.

There was touch on the Agholor pass just now
