Once again, no guarantee their mediocre kicker makes a 47 yarder. And the conversion was there if Goff just looked at the middle of the field.

I don’t know how you don’t kick there. Detroit’s office is not good enough to go for it from that distance. That play had no shot at any point.

The first one I thought was a good call to go for it, 2 yards everything on the table, long FG..... this one I didn't like. Distance means you probably have to throw, opponent knows it, and it's a reasonable FG distancee

Once again, they failed and if the mediocre kicker does the bare minimum in his job, Detroit has a lead.

I recently watched Super Bowl III, and Joe Namath was named MVP despite not throwing a TD in the game. But he deserved it, because he called the game, and the game he called against the Baltimore defense set up to blitz him and take away the deep pass, was full of runs and check down passes to his backs. I get wanting to "stay true to yourself", but you also have to manage the game situation. And Campbell has done a terrible job of that.
