Sure, it's called, and the refs often get it wrong, calling a player for embellishment when there was none. I think that the antics of the Habs have been reprehensible, but I remain wholly convinced that "cracking down" on embellishment by having the on-ice referees call unsportsmanlike minors is the wrong way to curb behavior. The only way to handle it is with a detailed review possible through the supplemental discipline program. Start out offenders with fines followed up by suspensions.MentalDisabldLst said:Have any of the longer-tenured hockey fans here ever seen a call actually made for Embellishment? Or is it like the rule in baseball where the pitcher has to deliver the pitch in 12 seconds?

He still smashed to the ice like his legs were chopped off.

Damned if he jumps, damned if he doesn't. I guess if he was white, this wouldn't be an issue.

And fuck.

He went down and didn't even put out his arms. He smashed to the ice like he was concussed and without his physical faculities. It was a legit penalty and Kreider is an idiot, but this Canadien team always likes to give a little extra when contact is made, even illegal contact.

Are they watching the same game?

That was odd. Look at that misdirection. Maybe they didn't want to mock Hank? I'm not sure what was going on there.
You're reaching. The Rags are doing it to themselves tonight. Zuccarrelo with a dumb penalty.FelixMantilla said:Officials now finishing the job on the Rangers.
