Hey everyone, just trying to look for some general information/advice. My wife is a breast cancer survivor and was just invited to take place in the Mother's Day event at Fenway on Sunday. I guess her invitation includes a free ticket, private tour, and lunch in the EMC Club. We previously assumed that this would be for her and a guest (myself), but it turns out that I am not invited to any of this except for the ability to purchase a ticket next to her in rf box 90 for what I assume is face value. Now, we are a good 2 1/2 hour drive out and would have to have someone watch our kids and drive out really early to get out there for 10:30, then I would be by myself until the game starts which pretty much sucks. I am myself obviously a major Sox fan and while she does like them, she is not a massive fan so she doesn't necessarily want to do this stuff by herself. Does anyone know anything about the behind the scenes protocol of what happens for this or any other event. On Mother's day, do they pair the women up with a player or anything cool like that, all throwing out first pitches together? Just trying to come up with reasons to convince her to go or anything why we shouldn't. Also any good advice on what to do with myself for 3 plus hours at the park besides drinking? haha. If anyone wanted to meet up that would be cool. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
