Got ourselves a series.

What an amazing scene in Nashville tonight. Great to see a southern city embrace the game so passionately.

He's an awesome talent, very well spoken and pretty comical too.

I love watching the guy play, and I have rooted for him ever since I read of his incredibly generosity off the ice.

I do, however, debate with myself a bit over how valuable he actually is. Predators are obviously a very good team, and he carried a -8 plus/minus this year.

Curious to get some of your thoughts on that...like all stats, I know plus/minus isn't perfect.

He did have a -8 plus/minus in the regular season, but he's got a +7 plus/minus in the playoffs. Nashville is in the finals because of what he brings on and off the ice and as you said, I too just like to watch the guy play.

His CF% was 54.4% this season which was eighth for defensemen with 50 games played or more. It's enhanced by the fact that 52.8% of his possessions started in his own zone. Most of the guys ahead of him started about 60% of their possessions in the offensive zone.

The old lady is in Nashville for work and I told her not to come home without a Subban tee. I cannot wait to see my Montreal friends and family recoil in horror at the sight of it, especially if the Preds can actually pull this off.

I think Subban is in the mix for 2nd best defenseman in the league, and certainly top 5. Karlsson is in a league of his own, then there's PK, Brent Burns and Victor Herman follow in some order.

Excellent. I am fully on board the Nashville express. Game 3 reminded me of the 2011 Bruins crowds, and that Murray chant was sublime.

Hoping this series follows the same script and Nashville wins it in game seven in Pittsburg; funny you mentioned the crowd compared to the 2011 Bruins crowds as that was the first thing I thought of, the crowds for games 3, 4 and 6 in 2011 were just electric.

"What does Carrie Underwood get Mike Fisher on his birthday?"

Fantastic question, Liam

Pretty casual hockey fan- if the penguins had scored before the horn sounded, then their goal wouldn't have counted right?
