I'm a lot happier with Cora - both have lower-level managerial experience but I like Cora having the MLB dugout experience as Astros bench coach. Good for Kapler, though - I think he will make a very good manager.I’m delighted the Sox got Cora. He was my first choice. But something tells me I would have been happy with Gabe Kapler, too.
Our Gabe Kapler.
Nicely done. And Horshack for bench coach...Will he be gettting Epstein and Washington to coach the bases?
Care to post some links? I've never heard any of this before...The Red Sox know Gabe Kapler very well, as is the case with Alex Cora. They chose the latter. Thank goodness!
No one in the Red Sox, Cubs or LAD organisations speaks highly of Kapler, neither professionally, nor ethically. And they know him well.
I am very happy the Red Sox will not be directed by a bluff.
Possibly referring to this? Terry Francona's son, an Afghanistan War veteran, alleged that the Dodgers fired him for seeking treatment of the "invisible wounds of war," and he seemed to single out Kapler by name in the complaint. Unclear if anything ever came of it, though.Care to post some links? I've never heard any of this before...

Just quickly browsing his website and it seems like an ordinary health/lifestyle coaching blog. What’s the problem there? In any case, if you would like a bit of insight into how Gabe Kapler presents himself publicly, you may wish to have a look at his blog: http://kaplifestyle.com/
Its contents will surprise many of you.
I had the same reaction, except he seems a bit better read than most.Just quickly browsing his website and it seems like an ordinary health/lifestyle coaching blog. What’s the problem there? Am I missing something?
Heyman actually had an article this morning that implied much of the same. As I was reading it, I was surprised, but now along with johnnyfromspain's comments, it looks like there might be something to it....Care to post some links? I've never heard any of this before...
