The Washington Post published a baseball quiz earlier this week, and it's trickier than I thought it would be. I'm batting .300 after 10 questions. Here's a gift link: https://wapo.st/3PKBoee

I'll update when I have a final score, and I look forward to your results.

Edit: 23/41. Not bad, but there are more than a few of you who will crush this score.

Thanks for the sharing link. That was a fun one. I got 35/41. I'm sure some of our Immaculate Grid nuts will get a perfect score.

26 for me, but tbh, my guesses hit more often than I would have expected

Actually, I missed
Harmon Killebrew
like 3 times. I need to read up on him a bit

18/41. Those 1940s-60s questions are brutal.

The groupings of players are a gift when you know 1 guy qualifies but have no clue on the others.

In the simulacrum
27 of the 41.

I am kicking myself on a few of the misses where I ended up trying to be too cute with the guess, but I probably hit on more than a few dice rolls.

Fun quiz.

Oof...16/41. Was thinking glad it wasn't a timed quiz, but may have scored higher minus the overthinking. Thanks for the link, that was fun.

27/41 - I looked up Ralph Kiner's 1947 game logs after that question

3 home runs and a .408 slugging percentage through June 1st (33 games). 48 home runs and a .709 slugging percentage the rest of the season (119 games).

32 of41 with a few guesses. Absolutely embarrassed I missed/outsmarted myself on the WHIP question.

I did exactly the same thing re: Kiner. lol

28/41 for me. Missed at least 4 that I shouldn't have had I thought about it for more than 10 seconds.

33. Good questions.

edit: There were some guesses I hit on, and a few misses I probably should have gotten, but I loved that there were a few questions you had to work through and consider, and that was fun, especially when they hit

24 out of 41 - - missed the WHIP and probably 4-5 others that I thought were “tricks” and went contrarian. Dummy.
