$60 dollars for a pair of Cronuts? That is a nice markup.jayhoz said:

Handoff is amazingly cool.The_Powa_of_Seiji_Ozawa said:no problem updating to ios 8 on a 5s. Did it on a Macbook Pro after backing up everything. I went in and turned off the battery draining functions like location based ads, etc., so far the phone is behaving fine, no battery life issues. I held off upgrading the icloud service until after Yosemite gets released. Overall, aside from the new keyboard function, seems like a bland update, but I haven't really explored much yet.

I've only had my 6 for three hours or so, and I already think the screen on my old 5 feels cramped.
There's a pet peeve for you, that kind of box that fools you into thinking it should be so easy to open but it isn't and you end up putting the contents on the floor. jayhoz said:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjRCY_vJt9k
I just opened mine up when I got home from work (delivered some time today after I ordered last weekend). In setup you have a choice of larger icons and text which looks like it keeps roughly the same spacial arrangements as a 5 but bigger. Or you can pick the regular old size and there's room for an extra line of apps on the screen. Not sure if that's what you're talking about.canderson said:For those w/ the 6 or 6+, is the default text (like name of apps, Safari text, etc.) larger than the 5? Or is it identical and they just have more space around and more on the screen.
I have one and I love it so far. I was concerned that it would be too big, but it's not. I'm still getting used to having to change the way I do a lot of things, but the bigger, higher resolution screen makes it all worth it. I have always preferred reading things on my phone over my iPad, and the larger screen is perfect for that.soxhop411 said:Does anyone here have the 6 plus? If you do, how do you like it?
I've had no issues comfortably fitting the phone in my front pocket (or sitting down with it in my front pocket). I've only tried it with dress pants and shorts, but I don't think it should be a problem with jeans either since I tend to wear looser styles of jeans. And that's with the Apple leather case on the phone and I'm probably going to try to go without the case (until I can find a case that's thinner and lighter), since it adds more bulk than I'd like. On the other hand, my wife tried and couldn't fit the phone into her jeans pockets. For anyone over 6 feet tall and who doesn't wear particularly tight styles of pants, it should be fine. For anyone else, I'd recommend checking it out at the Apple store before buying it if you want to be able to carry the phone in your front pants pocket.wutang112878 said:When you say its not too big, does it fit comfortably into your pocket? Thats the one thing holding me back from the Plus.
I'm not a very demanding case customer, but have you looked at Monoprice?Investor 11 said:Has anyone found a case they like yet? I've been using the Lifeproof cases on my previous iPhones and really enjoy it's slim profile compared to the Otterbox. I need to get something ASAP even if it's only a bridge until Lifeproof releases their 6 model.

An iOS 8 question. Has anyone else experienced logout issues from SoSH since upgrading? I never had an issue of being logged out from the mobile version of the site until now. I have Tapatalk and know I could go that route but prefer the mobile layout.

But you know what, the first iPod aside from being small was actually kind of shit. It was only 5gb (I had a 20gb player at the time the size of a discman), it only worked if you had a Mac (which weren't terribly competitive at the time), and it only worked over firewire. By the 3rd generation I went out and bought one, but yeah people have odd memories of 1.0 Apple products. Even the first iPad was dramatically improved upon by the second in less than a year.

iPad came out April 2010 in the US and over the summer internationally. iOS 6 was released September 2012 and did not support iPad 1.crow216 said:Yes, because all manufacturers cater their new software to their devices which are 4 years old.
