It's going to be a cruel summer for the 49ers. The Pats were the last great American dynasty, and now we've been replaced.
Good night. I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you.

Niners pissed away the whole third quarter by putting the ball in the hands of Purdy and having him looking downfield.

They keep feeding CMC and they win this game.

100% on Shanahan.

49era could have easily won with some basic play calling improvement. Glaringly obvious play calling improvement. Like stupidly obvious. Shanny should be ashamed and apologize in his post gsme

Mahomes is a beast
At least two Patriot wins were the same way.bMaybe three.

Great successor to the Pats dynasty. Mahomes is a superstar, and San Francisco played to lose.

I turned it off right when Nantz said something about a pot of gold. Pretty good second half and finish but I'm not watching any of the celebration

49ers choked. Couldn’t get points off turnovers. Didn’t run first 2 drives of 2!d half. And defensive calls were questionable in OT. Lynch built a talented team but they can’t get over the hump

34-46 (73.9%), 333 yds, 2 td, 1 int plus 9 rushes for 33 yards and a bunch of huge plays in the second half

The guy is absolutely incredible.
With not much at WR. His best a rookie
And best or second best lineman out and his TE abusing his Hc mid-game

I really can’t stand Mahomes.

But this playoff run is where he really earned his bronze. They took everyone out, three of them on the road.

That game was the very definition of "pissing away a game." So many chances the niners had, especially early, that they booted. Then the missed point which was determinative. Yikes.

Exactly, that 3rd quarter was horrendous. In addition to handing the Niners a TD due to the muffed punt.

People are going to dissect this and see how badly Shanahan called the second half onwards.

This postseason was basically a lesser but still good KC team being the least dumb of all the teams. It goes a really long way.

What are the chances Fred Warner was like me in not realizing the OT rules were changed when he called for the ball first? 1%? Higher?
fwiw, i was listening to the spanish broadcast and the announcer was freaking about the clock. hence i was, too. D'oh! :)

Incredible game, and one of the biggest moments is when the ball hits the foot of a guy who didn't see it

Brady was right. The league QB is mediocre.

Brady to the Pats next year - draft MHJ. Draft Penix to back him up. Win it again.
