I guess you didn't participate in fumble drills. Bonehead play trying to pick up that ball. Any high school coach threw his beer across the room on that play.
Him trying to pick up the ball was stupid. That doesnt mean recovering fumbles is a skill. It's been beaten to death in this forum. Fumble recovery has a huge variance for a reason.

Meh. I’m sure that’s coming in the post game press conferences a little later.
Also who really cares outside people looking to find a reason to dislike something they already dislike? If you think they don’t respect the 9ers because they didn’t publicly acknowledge it as they celebrated with the Lombardi trophy, you’re just looking for a reason to get angry.

I’ve never seen a Super Bowl winning team give zero props to the opponent. Not the owner, not the coach, not any player.

chiefs are so unlikable
There's also the way Mahomes answered the " Is this a dynasty" question.

BB after SB 39: "Haha well I dunno, you're going to have to let the pundits sort that one out.
Mahomes: "Yes it's a dynasty!"

Yeah and isn't that embarrassing now, to have only made it to OT in the Super Bowl.

Really not understanding the rush to clown on the 49ers. I'd trade every aspect of the Patriots organization for every aspect of the 49ers.
100%. They were SO CLOSE to winning the last 3 Super Bowls they were in and couldn't get it done. For Niners fans under 35, all they know is making it to the Super Bowl and getting kicked in the balls late in the game.

This is further proof it’s a QB league. Mahomes came up big. Purdy didn’t. Don’t screw around with the third pick in the draft…take Maye or Daniels and hope they turn into something special.

I’m just salty over people giving me the “well actually” when I said Kelce was the worst a couple weeks ago.

Also, I like TSwift but I don’t need to like her dopey BF.
Totally fair. I just happen to be using all of my “disliking your loved one’s S/O” points on my actual friend’s future wife :drunk:

It's certainly a dynasty already, in the same way that there were dynasties before the NE dynasty.

Between Reid and Spagnola it really seems like the chiefs are far and away the most well coach team in the league

It would be more accurate to compare BB’s answer to Reid’s if he gets the question.

I may have more coherent thoughts tomorrow. Or maybe not.

Yeah, I know it’s hard to win the Suoerbowl and I know Spags is a great defensive coach, but this game really made me upset and irrational.
Shanahan keptcalling stupid plays in the 2nd half when they are usually one of the best teams to adjust.
Then the defense that was playing Mahomes and co so well seemed to stop playing.
Then they needed one 1st down with less than 2 minutes to go to be able to ice the game.
Then they had the oportunity to get that TD in OT but…
Then they had the Chiefs on 4th down and fell for a stuois play they maybe should have anticipated.
And finally they just pkayed soft defense that allowed the Chiefs to move the ball at will on that final drive. Seemed like Mahomes was playing another team.

And after all that they could have won the game.

This hurts. Deeply.

The NFC is catching up, the Niners will have a tough road ahead. The Rams are improved, the Lions are improved, the Packers are improved, the Eagles will come back… It’s not like they have an easy road to the Superbowl again.

Too late for this year obviously, but I wonder if Spags gets back into the HC discussion soon. He had a monster year and playoffs. 64 maybe on the edge age wise, but I could see him getting some looks.

I really don’t want either of these teams in the Super Bowl next year and the near future (not until the Pats win a 7th at a minimum)

The ravens really choked this year - coaching staff and lamar were awful in a winnable game

mind you, I don’t like the ravens but I’m up for anyone winning besides the chiefs (and of course jets)
