Riding in the car just now, I think I heard Zolak on 98.5 make a reference to Brady getting work on his throwing shoulder on the sidelines at one point during the game yesterday and JimmyG warming up to possibly enter the game. Anyone have any details on that and when it was happening?

He mentioned it on the radio during the game. It was on a hit on third down in the last Patriots drive of the third quarter. The Panthers then went on a TD drive and there was a break for the end of the third quarter, and Zolak was talking about it all during that time -- Brady going straight to the bench, not moving around, then getting training, Jimmy warming up. But then Brady came out and led a TD drive and and Zo stopped talking about it.

It was the left shoulder, according to Zo, not the throwing. At least that's what he was saying during the game.

Seems crazy Zolak would be the only guy to notice Brady getting worked on and Jimmy warming to replace him. Brady sure looked fine in the 4th, too. I'm not worried at this point.

Ok, left shoulder. I remember him getting crunched on it once, wouldn't surprise me.

It wouldn't surprise me if they had Jimmy warm up a little when Brady got hit hard in the third quarter, with his head and neck being driven into one of his linemen, and he stayed down for a few moments after the play.

Unless Jimmy warms up between the third and fourth quarter and has his helmet in his hand every game, or Zolak was making stuff up live, there was something going on. But maybe it just turned out to be a stinger or something.

Thanks for the clarification on which shoulder. Zolak did say Brady looked fine down the stretch of the 4th qtr.

This offensive line needs to get it's act together. He can't keep taking hits like that all season.
The defense isn't doing them any favors either. Playing catchup gives a huge advantage to the pass rushers, who can just play pass every play.

OL awful again tonight. Hoping they'll figure out a way to keep Brady upright and Jimmy down on the bench for the rest of the year.

The best way to keep Brady upright is to play JG a few games. Belichick has never done anything like this before with Brady but the guy is 40, and Garopolo is a solid QB
