How the hell does Walker get away without a yellow card after that reaction? Just because he has the armband? Absolutely awful inconsistency.
Interesting sub from Poch, adding a CB (who hadn’t played all year) to go to 3ATB instead of keeping Palmer on in hopes of trying to score another on the counter.
VAR gets one right. Holgate got a yellow for a diving tackle into Mitoma. The ref was half a pitch away and a bit behind the play. Video review showed Holgate went in with one boot at knee-level - absolutely wild and reckless at best, a naked attempt to injure at worst. Thats red all day.
I turned it off so I missed Adringra’s sick backheel volley goal.

Late to the party, but I wanted to chime in with my love for Mason Holgate. He’s a wonderful example that absolutely anybody can be a Premier League footballer.

This is all a bit pre season for Liverpool. Slow build up, playing like strangers. They need to find some kind of spark. The bench isn't goal heavy.
Diaz keeps getting the ball in dangerous areas but then wastes his chance. Hopefully LFC can find something in the second half because the bench doesn’t have many options
So many chances Diaz had to score eventually. You could see the release of tension when he was high fiving his team mates. Diaz, like Nunez never gives up, never lets his head drop.
Klopp gives the 3 punches to all 4 sides of the ground. Looks like he's just soaking up the atmosphere while he can.
