Jeff Fisher is a good defensive minded coach but he has never had a solid offensive plan. I realize it's on the OC but he seems to not ever to have the right person calling plays. Seems like high school ball to me. Get the best kid the ballDo they insist on giving Austin the ball behind the line of scrimmage? I know Steve Young was going on about that earlier. But why? Can he not catch a pass unless he's like 2 feet away from the QB?
I was listening to Fox Sports Radio over the weekend on a 300 mile drive, and the hosts were talking about the Rams. One guy starts talking about how, with all their new players, "8-8 would be a great record for them," and I'm screaming at the radio that "Fisher teams ALWAYS go 8-8. It won't be a great record."Jeff Fisher is easy to root against.
I think boomer said Fisher made the comment they plan to win more that 6 games this year. Something to the effect of "we aren't a 6 and 10 team this year"I was listening to Fox Sports Radio over the weekend on a 300 mile drive, and the hosts were talking about the Rams. I had to explain this to my wife, but I knew I was right.
Can't argue with the assertion they aren't winning six, though.I think boomer said Fisher made the comment they plan to win more that 6 games this year. Something to the effect of "we aren't a 6 and 10 team this year"
So I guess 8 and 8 is dynasty level

My wife hates football. After watching the first half of this game I'm starting to agree.I was listening to Fox Sports Radio over the weekend on a 300 mile drive, and the hosts were talking about the Rams. One guy starts talking about how, with all their new players, "8-8 would be a great record for them," and I'm screaming at the radio that "Fisher teams ALWAYS go 8-8. It won't be a great record."

Well, Steve's not in his right mindSteve Young who retired due to a shit ton of concussions just encouraged Gabbert to keep diving head first into safeties.

It still amazes me that a sport that is so popular in the US still has shit stains like Case Keenum and Blaine Gabbert as starting QBs.
Whereas Steve Young, on the other hand, is SURPRISED based on what he saw on HBO.You know, after watching Jeff Fisher on HBO treat their first preseason home game as the Rams' "Super Bowl," I can't say I'm surprised by their performance tonight.
got it. i was thinking man that is a really really horrible trend down. He still sucksThe number of seasons his teams had that record. I'll clarify
