When was that?I used to go to Vegas for this weekend--more than 3 years ago--and the Sunday games were always more front-loaded than they are now. It was way better.
I don’t ever recall this. Maybe it only seemed they were early games due to the 3 hour time difference. The Sunday games have always been back loaded for decades based on my recollection. I know one of you guys are researching this. Is it weird that this is my most anticipated information of the day?I used to go to Vegas for this weekend--more than 3 years ago--and the Sunday games were always more front-loaded than they are now. Yea, half assed internet research tells my as far back as 2011 it's been 12:15, 2ish and 5:15ish. I'd much rather 1:00, 2:00 and 2:45 or something.I don’t ever recall this. Well, as an ODU alum I'm happy they got beat a hell of a lot worse than we did.Is Purdue this good or is Nova this bad?
Prior to 2011, Sunday was a triple header on CBS in a 1-4-3 format. First game starts a little after 12 PM and the action normally ends at 7:30 PM.When was that?
In 2010, there was only 1 Sunday game before 5 Eastern.

It was probably at least 15 years ago that I would go. Way back then, the Vegas time difference was the same on Saturday and Sunday.I don’t ever recall this. According to that website, it looks like 5 games tipped off before 3pm. And 6 games tipped off before 5pm eastern. So I'm not sure if this is the best answer. When was that?

Yeah, I screwed up and missed the time zone. So it looks like there were three additional earlier games played prior to 2011.According to that website, it looks like 5 games tipped off before 3pm. And 6 games tipped off before 5pm eastern. So I'm not sure if this is the best answer.
Good question. Unfortunately, there is no answer, blow outs happen and upsets happen and we're just in a really brutal blowout run right now. You could have shut your TV off at 2:45pm yesterday and not missed a single compelling moment. To everyone's prior point, another blow out game this first weekend.
I'm more interested in talking about what might be the reason for this. Following the NBA trend of more reliance on the 3? Expanded play in games? Less bribe money to attract better player to smaller schools following the Adidas scandal?
Auburn is already in, as will be either UCI or Oregon.A real chance 15 of the Top 16 teams advance this weekend. Best chance of an upset remaining is Buffalo over Texas Tech.

That 3 pointer was the end of the game. Just a brutal and deflating 27 footer with no time on the shot clock. I feel badly for Iowa, they must be exhausted now that they spent 20 minutes coming back in the game.Nice recovery by Tenn
YASSSSS, gambling.Loving this. Had Iowa +8, had nearly given up. Now was able to get an in-game of TN -4.5 for a really good chance at a middle.
It’s more like he jumps because that is what you are supposed to do while dunking and not because he actually has to.Never seen anyone make dunking look so much like ripping it up on a Nerf Basketball hoop like Fall. His dunk just now vs Duke looked like he jumped a whole 3 inches.
