Wisconsin let it go. Duke played well and took it but WIS was poor I thin 10 to go. Sucks for them.
Congrats to Coach K. on another championship and for his filthy recruiting practices that somehow manage to avoid being caught by the NCAA or the media.

Not a fan of Duke, but have to give credit where credit is due; they looked like they were cooked, rallied and played great defense down the stretch, they deserved to win, Wisconsin ran out of gas at the end.

Emmert, Nantz, and K so close to each other, pretty sure Aaron H can get them all with a single shot.
Pretty impressive by the freshmen in the second half. They were a play or two from potentially being out of it, and they rallied.
I can't stand that team, but they were the best team in the tournament and deserving champions. Second year in a row that free throw shooting and strong half court man to man defense seems to matter in long run in the tournament. You can win a lot of games in March with those two ingredients. The other stuff seems to balance out over the six games, but those two things really are the bread and butter.

Yeah, but Coach K isn't an asshole. I think it's really as simple as people hate almost all winners, for the standard jealousy reasons. I say almost all because the Spurs have managed to avoid it somehow. Even if Duke does cheat like everyone else, I won't hate on them for not getting caught. I can't fucking stand Calipari, going back to UMASS, and I think if he hangs around UK for the next 25+ years and puts together a resume like Coach K's at Duke, the nation might very well hate Kentucky with equal fervor as Duke.
