Another NC State Team of Destiny group against Houston in the tourney is getting ever closer.

As much as I want NC state out of the tournament, I need to see a Colorado - NCState sweet 16 game. I want to see burns and lampkin slam into each other for as long as they can last on the floor.

That will be great television.

They shouldn’t have been in. If Pitt made it they’d have won a game.
Agreed 100%. Pitt was better than half the 8 and 9 seeds in the tourney.

Nebraska shouldn’t have been a seed in the NIT. Their performance was the worst of the tournament.

Where’s the backcourt violation, you crooks?
It’s amazing how many people take their cues on officiating from the announcers. Who were dead wrong, btw, it wasn’t backcourt because the ball was never possessed after the throw-in.

The announcers were very wrong. Lappas does games all year and should have known that rule. They jumped the shark when they seemed incredulous instead of working with the truck to get an answer. With all that said - fans should absolutely take cues from announcers on officiating. Announcers sit on rules calls, get access to officials in pregame and sit in the best seats in the house.

Oregon’s defense is an absolute abomination and somehow Creighton has only scored 52 points.

If you like the game of basketball I have 0 fucking clue how you could like college more than the pros

I can’t stand watching Dante from Oregon play offense. He’s just banging his way through the lane. How is that not a foul?

College hoops officiating is so awful.

Oregon would be the first time in men's March Madness history to win a tournament game, any round, without attempting a free throw. Only one school, Illinois in 1986, has played such a game overall, in a Round of 32 56-58 loss to Alabama.

I’ve watched this entire game and have no earthly idea how Oregon is winning

What is with this strategy of easing up the court in last possession situations? Seems like every team is doing it, and they’re failing to get good shots time after time.

Creighton not pushing the tempo against a completely gassed team is inexcusable.
