I've never been an Agholar fan. I feel like he drops too many passes and has far too many games where he just no shows. I'm excited about the big picture of that the Pats are doing, and I am hopeful he fill a complementary role well in that, but that doesnt change the fact he was maybe 15th in my list of WRs I would have wanted this year.I don't really get the Samuel love.
Agholor has been the better WR, including this last season. Agholor is the exact type of WR you need if you want to run a lot of 12, while Samuel is not at all.
Samuel is a fun gadget guy who might also be a solid slot WRs, Agholor is a legit deep threat.
People got way too excited by CAR feeding him targets and the occasional rush.
This has been addressed, but he doesn’t drop as many passes as his reputation suggests. The reason people think he drops a lot of passes is he played for the Eagles, frankly. Nobody thinks about Samuel having 14 drops his first three years because he played for Carolina and wasn’t the subject of an infamous fan meme video.I've never been an Agholar fan. I really don't think they're going to look foolish at all. The WRs (outside of Golladay since we don't know what he's getting yet) all seem to be in the same ballpark in terms of cost. Seems to me that the team liked the fit of the guys they went after.Yeahhhh...I mean this is why going all-in on D1 of free agency is usually an awful strategy that only dumb teams do because you're going to overpay compared to deals to be found later.
I think most of what they did is ~fine & there are some unique circumstances with the cap that make this an interesting year to try this strategy... but they might look foolish on several of these contracts compared to the deals that teams that waited end up getting.
I've heard so many people say he drops too many passes, and honestly who watched enough 2019 eagles and 2020 raiders games to make that assessment based on their own observations? Yammer, of course. But after that? This has been addressed, but he doesn’t drop as many passes as his reputation suggests. The reason people think he drops a lot of passes is he played for the Eagles, frankly. Would be a good get assuming White leaves.Lindsay and the Broncos have agreed to part ways. I know he's been mentioned re: the Patriots.
That comment came after a rough stretch for Agholor. He'd dropped a game tying TD two weeks before (against the Pats) and then had a drop and a fumble the next game against the Lions. It's hard to overcome a viral video in which a man on the street implies that you would have dropped a baby. At least for me that is probably 95% of my awareness of Agholor having a problem with drops.
I can't speak to his time with Vegas, but I can say that I've seen every single snap of his during his tenure with the Eagles. I'm surprised by the raw drop numbers posted in this thread because I feel like he definitely dropped more than four passes in 2019, but I guess the numbers don't lie.I've heard so many people say he drops too many passes, and honestly who watched enough 2019 eagles and 2020 raiders games to make that assessment based on their own observations? Honest question - what's your take on the rape allegations? I know he was not ultimately charged, but I'd feel a little better about the signing if I felt like his name was actually cleared and not that he NFL player'ed his way out of it.I can't speak to his time with Vegas, but I can say that I've seen every single snap of his during his tenure with the Eagles. All in all I think he's a good WR but he's inconsistent and frustrating and sometimes careless with the football. I would like to think that a Belichick led team will be helpful for him on those things. I will add that he's a high character guy. After that video went viral he stood tall and answered all the questions from reporters on that, and he even invited the guy and his family to an Eagles game as his guest.
We're still not at the stage of the off season where the Patriots usually dip their toe in, so we'll see.I really don't think they're going to look foolish at all. Along with Mims and Crowder. That's a nice unit, if this happens.Apparently the Jets are in on Juju, looking to paid him with Corey Davis.
Davis and Smith Schuster would be a nice couple of options for a rookie

Youve described Brandin Cooks, who we all would have killed to have on the roster last season.I've never been an Agholar fan. I had the same hesitations on Agholor but then watched a bunch of highlights from his Raiders season and he looks like a completely different player. Definitely recommend taking a deep dive into his play last year.Youve described Brandin Cooks, who we all would have killed to have on the roster last season.
I'm hesitant on Agholor, but I didnt watch many Raiders games last season.
Dolphins signed Matt Skura.Zolak hinting on 98.5 that Andrews still coming back may not be out of the question.
One year around worth around more than $10M with upside per Rapsheet. Will Fuller to the Dolphins

I dunno. Even without the PED suspension, he's missed about 30% of his games. Seems like a guy who always gets banged up every year and I can't shake that awful drop he had against the Pats in the playoffs from my memory. I'm ok with Miami taking him. Solid deal for them since no risk on a 1 year deal. One year around worth around more than $10M with upside per Rapsheet.
That’s a bargain. He was really good last year as the #1 before he got busted for PEDs. I’d prefer him to Agholor on their respective contracts.
This is a wild signing. They didn’t block particularly well for Jacobs as is, and they spent all kinds of time just running him up the gut. And now their OL is worse to boot?So the Raiders got rid of a bunch of good linemen to get money for....

Kenyan Drake to be their backup?
Wow. Rumors were that the Bears were pushing hard for an extension. Fuller is betting that there’s more money out there on the market still than what the Bears were offering - the new TV deal helps that.
I mean, I bet he barely remembers he was a PatriotI legitimately forgot that Moncrief was on the team this past year. Although, in my defense, I just learned this is his 7th team in 5 years, so I'm probably not the only one.
