Thought this might be something cool to sink our teeth into. After years and years of "it's coming!" the NHL has finally released the player / puck tracking data in this EDGE portal on their website.

This includes things like skating speed, skating distance, zone time, shot location and shot speed, etc. Plenty of metrics.
I haven't fully looked through all the data but thought it warrented discussion of what's important, interesting/fun notes and trends.
