What FA WR are you after?
Probably Brown is my #1 assuming it's under $15M per. After that... Short deal for Boyd? whoever is reasonable out of Samuel, Mooney Chark. I'd be looking at the trade market.
I think the biggest mistake they can make is yet again spending a bunch of value (picks/money) on mediocre guys past their prime age who they hope magically improve. (see Juju, Parker, etc.).
Either get guys in or before their prime at reasonable rates, or get short deals for solid guys, or trade.

Gabe Davis I just don't like, not sure why, he just doesn't do it for me.

Eh the cap blew up so much, the overpays aren't what they used to be. And of course, the actual terms of the deal are never the sticker price in the NFL.

Sure, but you pay that, then you're paying Barmore and then you have eleventy billion dolloars tied up on DT.

The biggest laugh I’m getting today is in the tweets of Schefter and pPalissero … Look how big Schefter compared to Palisseros

That's a ton of money for Cousins. Glad it wasn't the Pats shelling that out.

And unlike Stafford he didn’t get the benefit of those crazy lucrative entry level contracts, much less a first round salary under the new CBA. Since he got tagged by Washington, he’s been cashing in time after time.

I'd take Aaron Jones. Yes, fairly injury-riddled this past year, but def worth a look. And a former Packer so maybe Wolf likes him (or has connections with those who do).

He’s a very good runner. Fast and tough to bring down. I don’t want to spend much money but him, Rhamondre, and Gibson would make for a very good RB room.

Atlanta would have been a great spot for BB and have made passing Shula inevitable. The team now with Cousins is a playoff lock in that division.
If they underperform because of some poor coaching by Morris, don't count it out for next year. But yeah, missed opportunity. Would have been a good spot for him.

Greenard, Cashman and Van Ginkel.... MIN is having a nice FA.....
unfortunately they lost their QB so unless they do something about it the defensive upgrades probably don't matter

Feels like BB/McDaniels would have maximized the next 2-3 years in Atl. Maybe I'm too low on Morris.

Fun fact.

Jon Runyan (Jr. mind you, Senior was pretty good too) was drafted 192nd in the 2020 draft. The same position that the Pats just traded Mac Jones to Jacksonville for (if the reporting is accurate).

Last year's 192nd pick, Patriots Punter, Bryce Baringer

quite good, especially run blocking, but yeah seems like a major overpay
Probably a bit of desperation from the Rams. Higbee ended up blowing out his ACL in the wild card game in January, and likely won't be ready for the season opener.

I think there's a bit to like about Parkinson, whose receiving numbers were a bit depressed in an overcrowded Seahawks tight end room with Fant and Dissly there too. Not to mention JSN, Metcalf, Lockett, KW9 and even Charbonnet. Agree it's an overpay, but probably not that egregious given that the Rams have nobody after Higbee, they aren't getting Bowers, and there isn't a ton out there on the wire that they could use to fill Higbee's shoes until he returns (if he does).
