People must be REALLY down on Bienemy. The Raiders hiring Getsy over Bienemy is certainly a choice.

As if there already wasn't enough Harbaughs in football, Seahawks hire Jay to be their special teams coach.

Larry Izzo is the one guy I wanted the Seahawks to keep, Seattle ST were excellent. Maybe he goes back to NE? He'd be quite a get.

If he came to NE it would need to be in Judge type role? We already emptied the ST barrel on Jeremy Springer.

Yeah and there are also seems to be a bit of friction between him and Reid. Seemed like everyone was ready for a fresh start at the end. Reid was just asked about him coming back, and he said something like "I don't have a spot." I don't know what's next for Bienemy, but I'd be a bit surprised if it's back in KC regardless of what happens with Reid.
Wrong again:
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Bieniemy could return to the Chiefs for 2024.

His title likely would be something along the lines of “assistant head coach,” with Matt Nagy likely remaining in the position of offensive coordinator. And it would be beneficial to the term, in multiple ways.

I can't think of many guys who lost the "future head coach" title without a specific disqualifying incident faster than Bienemy did. He went from "it's outrageous he's not a HC" to an assistant college coach in about a year.

Really weird that your top 2 coaches were RB's, and your head coach has zero coordinating or playcalling history. IMHO

He might not have a specific recent incident but he had a very troubled past that some front office types might not be comfortable with. He’s been arrested a bunch of times, failed to appear for mandated court appearances, was implicated in harassing one recruit, implicated in rape of college athletes which he testified to knowing about and not acting upon…

Granted his troubles seem to have stopped but I can see that stuff coming up in interviews and background checks. He’s been passed over so many times that it almost certainly is the case that he doesn’t interview well or his character stuff is of some concern.
