That view is across the bay, isn't it? Is it kind of a shimmering look or is that just what it looks like on TV?
I am so close but yet so far. I can see down to the box seats from my place over the left field fence, but cannot see down to field level. I'm 9 miles away and 1250 feet above sea level...

Edit- yeah, if the air isn't steady, looking through 9 miles of air doesn't give you a good image. When I moved here, I tried. Figured with my telescope and KNBR, it'd be like bleacher seats!

He was 22nd among all qualified starters this year with an 11.1 IFFB%, with the MLB leader Toronto's Marco Estrada at 16.8%. So while he's good at getting this particular type of batted ball, tonight's rate isn't remotely sustainable.

Yeah there was a split second where his front foot comes off and nothing else is touching.

I think he may have lost contact between the front leg and the trail leg with the tag on.

I actually think that's the right call. Lead foot popped off while the tag was still on.
