If it makes you feel better, I checked to see if he was available like 4 rounds ago.I feel like a complete loser when someone drafts a guy 11 rounds after I do.
I keep using the Ovibase to search. I am assuming I need to use the first page as that is not being updated. If it makes you feel better, I checked to see if he was available like 4 rounds ago.
You should be good now.Deleted until TheRealness re-picks.
I am going to be so angry when the B's lose him the Seattle draft.Matt Grzelcyk
All part of the plan....
ummm. we're worrying about cap hit?Top-pairing guy who can slide in on d-pair 2, and plays all special teams.
The PSKs select D Darnell Nurse
Svechnikov - Seguin - Kucherov
----------------- - Cirelli - Smith
----------------- - Nelson - --------------
Josi - Ellis
Ekholm - Nurse
Cap picture:
Seguin ($9.85m)
Kucherov ($9.5m)
Ellis ($6.25m)
Nelson ($6.0m)
Smith ($5.0m)
Josi ($4.0m this year, then $9.059m)
Ekholm ($3.75m)
Nurse ($3.2m this year, then $5.6m)
Svechnikov ($0.925m)
Cirelli ($0.728m)
Total cap hit: $49.2m this year, growing to at least $56.7m. Looks like some tougher choices on the road to $81.5m
Well, you clearly aren't.ummm. we're worrying about cap hit?
shrug. at least I wasn't making things up in my head againThere will be no salary cap.
Everyone is doing their own thing. Haunted is looking for Mikes. Felix is looking for tall dudes. You are looking for assholes. Some of us are seeing if we can be cap compliant.ummm. we're worrying about cap hit?
Pretty much. One of my constraints is gonna be to see if I can extend Cirelli / Svechnikov or if I'd have to trade... SeguinEveryone is doing their own thing. Haunted is looking for Mikes. I am basically building a fantasy lineup, with a scent of apathy involved (I think of people, google them, and if they are available, I stop thinking and pick). But, it also shows how I like to build teams (strong defense, strong at center, strong in net), so on that end it does show something about how I would build a team.Pretty much. I don't get what happened to this guy. I get that the 2016-17 shooting percentage was probably unsustainable, but he went from 11.8, 18.6, and 14.8 over three years, to 9.3 and 8.1 the last two. Has he just been stuck with much worse talent around him recently?I really need defensemen but can’t pass up this 30 goal scorer and his sweet swede mullet. Rickard Rakell, RW, ANA
I thought a lot about Garland at the end of last round but I have some concerns about Center depth coming back so I'm glad you took the winger.I was debating on whether to take Garland or Schmaltz.
I had the same concerns but ultimately went with Garland for the goal scoring upside, and also I have some position versatility in my forward group. I have Stamkos penciled in for RW1 but could always play him at C2 and drop Marchessault to C3 if there are no centers that I like and I have to take two wings.I thought a lot about Garland at the end of last round but I have some concerns about Center depth coming back so I'm glad you took the winger.
Ah yes. I have less versatility. Good pick.I had the same concerns but ultimately went with Garland for the goal scoring upside, and also I have some position versatility in my forward group. It coincides with the decline of Getzlaf, who he plays most of his minutes with, and Perry leaving, who was his other usual linemate. His xG numbers do suggest he's not finishing nearly as well as he used to though. Whether that's luck, a decline in skill, xG missing something, or all of the above, who knows. But it is interesting.I don't get what happened to this guy.
