Plan B - we were eligible for six - but if you wanted to buy in - you HAD to buy three (Plan B). You'd buy one in each group of six games. 3 out of 18.
Then you could go back through "the buffet line" for a second helping. We declined.
There was a "second chance sale" yesterday (Tuesday) but all there were , April games PLUS April and May pavilion suite tickets (at $225 per).
Then there was a "Red Sox Insider" sale of April games today (Wednesday). Declined.
Actually - this is a blessing because we're not forced to buy the tickets for April and May games, which, we wind up giving away or StubHubbing for 25c on the dollar, or throwing away half of. And my guess is that the "secondary" market for April games will collapse, but that's a guess.
The only thing is the outrageous scalpers' market ... one guy in one of the Facebook groups I'm in, boasted of "scoring" a pair of bleacher tickets to a Houston game in July -actually - a PROMISE by the broker to secure two tickets for him - no July tickets have been distributed as yet -for $375 or so.
In fact, Ratso Rizzo or Fatso's Ticket Trailer (next to Dottie's Dirty Book Shop) can only deal in PROMISES now as no tickets for summer games have been released.,, unless they hold season tickets themselves, or have bought from them.
Caveat Emptor!
