What a selfish idiot. Rodgers, to be clear.

His fiance Shailene Woodley is a big promoter of "alternative" health treatments, so this is not a huge shocker. Rogers isn't quite Kyrie Irving-level off, but he's getting there. At least Kyrie openly talks about his "alternative" view points.
He has proven himself to be a clown as well. Homeopathy….LOL. The fact that he thought this was a suitable alternative and/or that it would pass muster with a rigid COVID protocol is astounding. That he played silly word games and lied to avoid criticism rather than owning up to his shitty ideas is just the cherry on top.I have always felt a little bad for Rodgers because so much of his career was wasted with a clown of a coach and a terrible GM. But no more.
But what if he used it while in the Sedona power vortex?Rodgers seriously thought that him using a healing crystal would get him exempt from needing to be vaccinated.
Didn't do me any good when I was thereBut what if he used it while in the Sedona power vortex?
If it ducks like a quack…Rodgers seriously thought that him using a healing crystal would get him exempt from needing to be vaccinated.
Well in this case not getting vaccinated could cost him playing time as well. So it's even dumber that he didn't get the shot because he has to miss at least 10 days instead of only needing 2 negatives. I have zero sympathy. Anyone who doesn't get a shot at this point should suffer the consequences. If Aaron Rodgers tears his ACL when he comes back from COVID, is he going to have reconstructive surgery to repair the ACL under the care of a physician? Or rub some oil on it and hope that works? Not denigrating homeopathic methods, but these fuckwads would run to an actual doctor the second science and modern medicine would help them recover from an injury to extend their careers, but somehow have no use for it now.
Hey, Oscillococcinuim is pretty popular among the homeopathic crowd to treat Covid. It’s made from duck parts. Quack, quack. If it ducks like a quack…
If the NFL was aware of him violating protocols and didn't do anything, it will quite certainly prove to be a "small" rather than "big" thing.NFL has knowingly let him violate protocols. This is a big one.
We're talking about Roger "We have the best partners in media!" Goodell here, and that media partner certainly wanted nothing to get in the way of a Rodgers-Murray tilt last week.If the NFL was aware of him violating protocols and didn't do anything, it will quite certainly prove to be a "small" rather than "big" thing.
This didn't get the love it deserved. Bravo. But I was told the Rodgers rate is for everyone!
Makes you wonder what The Authorities would find if they decided to excavate the crawl space underneath Trebek's place.Wow, first Mike Richards, then Bialik's old tweets, now this. Jeopardy really needs to do a better job vetting their hosts. This proves that Levar Burton should play QB for the Packers.
Rodgers is one great teammate. He knows how important he is to the team, but still prioritized his quack beliefs over doing what's best for himself and his team.
Last season’s MVP apparently lied about his vaccination status regarding a highly communicable disease that caused a global pandemic killing over 5 million people and 750,000 Americans. And now he has it and possibly transmitted it to teammates or other staff. We'll be handing out suspensions for any V&N in this thread going forward.
To the 99.9% of the site who comes here for sports news, I apologize.
Duck liver to be precise. A friend once recommended it when I had the flu. It did absolutely nothing beneficial, but I had the most voluminous and foul smelling bathroom breaks of my life.Hey, Oscillococcinuim is pretty popular among the homeopathic crowd to treat Covid. They did it with Rodgers too, when they had Favre. So let's say Love starts two games and....isn't good? Where do the Packers go from there? The plan seemed to be to move on from Rodgers after this year (although it looks like there will be a big cap hit if they do so) so do they then try to roll with him for one more year, then he walks in the void year of the deal?
Love was such an weird pick, even without the move up to get him. You dont draft a QB to sit for four years, you draft one to start (on his rookie deal) and use the money to shore up other positions. I dont think Rodgers reacted to it like a professional should, but up to now it has been a wasted draft pick.
Sorry but this is cracking me up. Although any treatment that included "my, you look handsome today" would certainly elevate my mood so maybe it does qualify as an alternative health treatment? His fiance Shailene Woodley is a big promoter of "alternative" health treatments, so this is not a huge shocker. Rogers isn't quite Kyrie Irving-level off, but he's getting there. At least Kyrie openly talks about his "alternative" view points.
Here is the thing that kills me, complimentary and alternative medicine is a legit thing (I used to be a public health researcher before moving into health IT) and is effective - see acupuncture for treatment of swelling - but is is COMPLIMENTARY not REPLACEMENT. It made huge differences in my recovery from multiple joint reconstructions and arthritis. Homeopathy also gives a lot of populations who have had historically poor treatment by the medical establishment, life African-Americans, an avenue to medical treatment that isn't systematically exploitative. Shitheads like Rogers, Brady (water prevents sunburns!), and Wilson (concussion water!) delegitimize complimentary and alternative medicine. Fuck him and his ilk.
He didn't fake anything though, really all he's done is not follow mask protocol in media interviews, and mislead people, the league has known he was unvaxxed since they denied his waiver request. So really all they'll do is the same they did to other teams whose players didn't follow mask policy... fine them.Evander Kane got around a 20 game NHL suspension for faking a vax card. Wonder what happens here.
Thanks for the clarification. Who was he misleading, his teammates and the team?He didn't fake anything though, really all he's done is not follow mask protocol in media interviews, and mislead people, the league has known he was unvaxxed since they denied his waiver request. Sounds like he misled the media, which is the worst thing he could have done. Just ask them. Thanks for the clarification. Who was he misleading, his teammates and the team?
From the sounds of it, the media/public. Word is when in the facility he followed the rules, but he didn't when there were cameras, combined with the whole: "Are you vaccinated", "yeah, I'm immunized, other guys aren't vaccinated it's their decision" stuff makes it pretty clear he just didn't want to have to deal with any questions or criticism, which is on brand since he's super thin-skinned.Thanks for the clarification. Who was he misleading, his teammates and the team?
Was thinking the same, well done."ReVax"is incredible, congrats to the author
How does one get access to V&N?
My reaction was that he's too good to be Pipped and that's really more for average players, and I got wondering about who is the best player in any sport to be Wally Pipped?I'd love love to see Love kick ass and Wally Pipp Rodgers.
Alex Smith got Pipped twice, first by Kapernick and then Mahomes, although Mahomes didn't really take over because Smith got injured. My reaction was that he's too good to be Pipped and that's really more for average players, and I got wondering about who is the best player in any sport to be Wally Pipped?
Gotta be Bledsoe, right?
Ha ... I thought that might have been a call back to JWH's question about P&GBecome a member.
I want to say Joe Montana was “pipped” by Steve Young, but ideally you’re talking about a short term injury, and Montana was injured for nearly two years. Unitas was injured for most of the ‘68 season but Shula stuck with Earl Morrall even when Unitas was able to return, until halftime at SB III.My reaction was that he's too good to be Pipped and that's really more for average players, and I got wondering about who is the best player in any sport to be Wally Pipped?

Not for Trent Green. He wasn't the best player to get Pipped, but Trent Green getting Pipped by Warner was a great story.
