deep inside Guido territory
I remember sitting in the seat in my living room I’m in now just about a year ago at this time dejected. It was such a bitter disappointment to what was a dream season and an end of an era. I didn’t even know if they’d even get back to the playoffs this year. It was an unexpected bonus-type of year considering it was a transition year. But now that we’re here, might as well win the whole damn thing. Fuck Toronto.

Speculation - but I think Sway gets the nod tonight. He was first off the ice after the morning skate. And before skating off, it looked like Ullman gave him a pep talk and patted him on the chest.

I think last year broke me. I am honestly finding it hard to get excited for this one.

Having shingles for the last month and being on nerve dampeners and muscle relaxers may be contributing to the malaise.

Never the less, go B's.

I don't know what to expect. Last year was unfortunate, with untimely injuries and fluky bracketing pitting them against the next best team in the conference. It was definitely disappointing, especially since a couple of different coaching and personnel decisions could've made for a legendary Cup run.

This year? No one expects them to win the Cup. In that way, it's house money. I just hope that Montgomery plays to their strengths this time around (goalie tandem plz) and the guys who suit up perform to the best of their abilities. If they do, this should be a ton of fun.

I had a heart attack just over 4 weeks ago. It wasn’t a major one, but bad enough considering I’m only 41 and am in good shape.

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure I’m ready for playoff intensity hockey. So if the Bruins could just like…blow them out, that’d be awesome.

I am on board with this call for a low stress series win. Win it for @TSC ’s ticker.

I'm sorry to hear this, but I'm glad you're back in action. We need you for this run for the Cup.

This is the time to put away disappointment at historical playoff performances and just get after wins this year. Go B’s.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are the cicadas of the NHL. Dormant for 19 years in the playoffs, these bugs finally emerged from the ground last year to win a playoff series before once again embarking on a generation of silence once the spring rolls around. Nothing signals the start of spring like the Leafs losing shortly after the azaleas bloom in Augusta. And so on this glorious day where Americans of all kinds can smoke the leaves of their choosing, it’s only fitting that our hockey team smokes some Leafs too.

Happy spring everyone. Let the Leafs fall where they may. Rip their fucking heads off.

Jesus christ dude, that sounds scary. I'm glad you're okay. We're around the same age and I also consider myself pretty healthy. Any reason from the doc - hereditary/genes? At any rate, take care of yourself!

Go B's!!!!!!!

I'm not seeing an US outlet for tonight's HNIC leafs-Bruins broadcast. NHL usually carries them but I don't see it on the channel guide.

Wishing for good health to all y'all here (especially LogansDad and TSC) and for a very despondent Bizz post-game.

Love the decision to start Swayman. Hopeful the Bruins (and arena) bring the playoff intensity tonight. LFG!
