I have a client that uses Gmail for his business. He has received a subpoena for a number of his business emails, which we have produced. He has now been asked to produce a "privilege log", which is essentially a list of emails between the client and counsel (and only client and counsel). it would be easy if there was only one person on the other side of the emails, but there are multiple attorneys at multiple firms. Here are my questions:
Is it possible to search in gmail to find all emails from client sent to (and only to) A, B, C or D, and any combination thereof, but only those four).
Is it possible to search in gmail to find all emails sent from A, B, C or D where the only recipients are client and A, B, C or D (or some combination).
What I'm trying to avoid is a search that includes all of the above plus some other parties, as there will be a lot of emails that have other parties beyond the ones he can claim privilege for.
Our lit support person is, of course, out this morning.
thanks in advance for any input.
