This is a good one. I don't know why, but I take particular pleasure in the reaction of the guy in the Baldwin jersey at the front of the group. I found him to be incredibly irritating throughout the video and his emotional pain makes me happy.SeoulSoxFan said:Finally found the equivalent of the Maple Leafs fans video:

I find the chanting of 'beast' - 'mode' almost as lame as the 12th man thing, maybe because both are 'borrowed' phrases.BornToRun said:This is a good one. Was that Seahawks fans thinking the play was about to be reversed, not realizing it was deadball, or Patriots fans who thought it might be reversed and were relieved? Sounds on tv like the former. Just makes me realize those in the stadium didn't have Michaels saying it was for celebration, who just nipoticed the flag after the play.

I'm also not a huge fan of the 2:35 mask that covers up a lot of the graphics

all of them with their brand spanking new jersey.
I grabbed it in 1080p (although for some reason it looks grainy from time to time); I can't put it on Vimeo as it is 1.2GB, does Dailymotion take such large vids?mabrowndog said:Did anyone happen to capture the stream and would they be willing/able to upload (to Dailymotion as a private vid with password access) or share some other way (torrent)?

This is something that baffles me. I'm sure they're out there, but for the life of me I can't recall seeing a single Seahawks fan in a retro jersey. I mean, they have enough history: Krieg, Warner, Largent, etc. Hell, not even a single Bosworth jersey worn ironically (which you'd think would totally happen in Seattle of all places). I know a number of true, diehard Seahawks fans, so I don't like to indict their entire fanbase. But it's just... weird.
The SB party I was at saw people wearing both a retro Flutie #2 jersey (from his stint starting in '88) and a retro Slade jersey from the 90s.

I have seen lots of Seahawks fans in Largent jerseys. Also every Seahawk game I've been to I go to the same bar beforehand and there's always the same guy there wearing a Kenny Easley jersey.

What really comes through for me is how how cool and collected Brady is, making great decisions all the way down the field. He makes running a legendary drive, to win the Superbowl, look so damn easy.

Thanks for the response and the offer. Much appreciated.
However, phrenile (Lord of the Table-Izer, which by itself should form a sufficient basis of his first-ballot induction to the SoSH HoF) forwarded to me a mirror link for a 720p archive that worked like a charm. So I'm all set.
Random observation, Marshawn Lynch is on the field during that scrum. Why? It looks like maybe he ran out to help break things up? Is that normal for players on the sidelines to run in like that? There is also a dude with no pads that runs in there but at least was smart enough to put a helmet on.Jed Zeppelin said:I can't say this enough to enough people, but this angle once again reinforces how stellar Butler was on that drive. I mean, three legit "holy shit are you sure this guy was an UDFA?" plays, and all on very different kinds of plays. At 2:25, running step for step with the WR with an extra burst to make a play on the ball. At 3:00 once again stride for stride, plus the head turn, plus the great athleticism to once again play the ball. And, of course, magic at 3:40.
That's as good as it gets from a guy they were very clearly trying to pick on. I've been trying to temper my enthusiasm for his future. He might have had the freshest legs on the field, and we've all seen guys show something in small spurts. But that defense was legendary, not just the old Sterling Moore "miraculously knock the ball out after getting cleanly beat" move.

It always blows me away watching before the long pass to Gronk, the Seahawks knew there was a mismatch and the Pats were going to go to Gronk. Not only did they not get out of that defense then they went back to it later in the game.brandonchristensen said:

One of the plays that's pretty cool on this video is the first Gronk catch of the winning drive. You hear BB and other football people talk about "leverage" all the time, and some times it seems a bit abstract, but you really get a sense of what it means here.

It's the mark of of a great and talented, but front running team. As much as the NFL championship was a huge comeback it really felt like GB gave it away more than Seattle took it. I think they weren't prepared for the resilience of NE. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that blow to their aura of invulnerability is what sets them to unravel a bit. They seemed like the team of destiny one play before and then it was plucked away. I have a hunch that they take a small step back next year. Looks like a Seattle radio station does an Opponents' Audio radio recap after each game, and they suck it up and put together the one for the Super Bowl. The money shot is the last minute or so of them reacting to it afterwards. Zo's call really got in their heads (understandably and hilariously).
The New England Patriots' victory in Super Bowl XLIX has sparked hometown celebrations for a variety of the team's players. One such example is with special-teams standout Nate Ebner, who was honored at his alma mater, Davidson High School, in central Ohio.
"It's not even a week in so I'm still trying to get a grasp on it, but it's amazing," Ebner said, according to the Hilliard Northwest News. "I'll catch myself driving down the road thinking about it and I'll just start smiling. You just work so hard all year and it's just a testament to hard work paying off."
Ebner drove 12 hours for "Nate Ebner Night."
