Just fucking punt you fucking numpties. Why waste a time out on that bullsit.

And even if you want to try it, just take a delay. The time out is worth more than 5 yards.

Surrounded by a juggernaut OL, it all makes me wonder if Mac was ever fully challenged in college. He lost 3 games in 3 years. Was never truly exposed?
Like a lot of college QBs on juggernaut programs, no not at all.

One (1) timeout and a chance for the offense to practice a high-leverage play?
Maybe, but why do we care, really? We are now at the stage of a terrible season where everything is criticized whether it makes sense or not. This game does not matter. This season is over. They should absolutely try some stuff that they've practiced. This is now a time to see what can be kept and what no longer gives joy.

I'm somewhat convinced that a decent QB and some returning players will turn this team around to being legit competitive.

Next, have them take the pebble from your hand

For real though...at what point do we accept that Mac is entirely the offensive problem?
My read has been that the problem wasn’t initially Mac – he played with a lot of confidence and consistency his rookie year. But the dysfunction of last season combined with the OL and receiver problems this year just destroyed that confidence.

I would guess Mac is done for the year barring injury. But to sit here and just say like @FL4WL3SS (to pick one famous Mac hater) that Mac sucks and has always sucked just isn’t borne out by the facts.

Mac's signature win in his career was a game he threw 3 passes.

Since that game, he's been terrible.
