Man, the stuff that the Cards are wearing today is so different from what they were wearing in 1967! I mean, what were they even thinking back then!

[paul lukas]Though the 1967 St. Louis Cardinals never had a NewEra logo creep on the side of their hats. Corporate douchebags!*[/paul lukas]

* BTW, on a site full of obnoxious smug, this could be one of his ticks that drives me crazy the most.

I thought i was alone in preferring the blue lettering. So much better than the red
I thought that most people were happy to see the blue lettering go. From what I recall, the Sox played a throw-back game against the Padres in 2010 or 11 and the front office loved the way that the old blue away uniforms looked, so they changed them. But people (including the players) preferred the unis with the red lettering, so they went back.

I just hate the red and blue softball Friday night specials. Those are gross.

Those Friday specials are obnoxious. I wish they'd get rid of them. If they want a special shirt for Friday's, the throwbacks they wore in SD last year were fantastic. Most of their throwbacks are good to great and all are better than those abominations that look like spring training jerseys.
