John, this is in no way a criticism of you so please don't take it that way. I hope to someday be comfortable enough financially to drop a couple grand on enhancing the fantasy interest of strangers. You have both my gratitude and my jealousy!

Not to steal any thunder, but to show how appreciative I am, I will kick in a pair of my Sox tickets for next year to the winner.

edit: if it's okay w/ johnmd20 - or to 2nd if he prefers.

Fine with me. I don't own the market on prizes. The stakes have been raised! Winner gets 800 bucks plus a pair of Sox tickets.

No worries, it's cool. I just wanted to do a nice thing for a website that gives me a lot of entertainment all year long.

105 people. The pool is growing. Players lock at kickoff. So you still have another day and a few hours to join and make changes. Good luck.

Tried to join.  It appears that the group is already locked.  Either that or I am too stupid to navigate the website.  Probably the latter.

The group is locked, in that you can't join it with outside ballot.(this is to stop people from joining the group with a winning ballot from diferent group) So join the group and then make your picks. You shouldn't be locked out.

I need some new tires so if you guys could just go ahead and tank that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Great idea and thanks for those who have chipped in to make this a pretty epic prize.

Good decision

Yeah, Panthers were cheap and they were playing against a High School level quarterback. RGREELY in the lead right now but he had 5 guys going yesterday, including his two two QBs. JStew was a good pick, though.

Killer picks are Greg Olsen and Chandler Cantanzaro. You can't have any games with sub 5 points if you hope to win. There are too many people in this, it's going to take close to perfection to get it done. You can't win it on the first weekend, but you can certainly lose it. Heath Miller was no prize, either.

Forsett, Kelvin Benjamin and Ben Rapistberger were total busts.

In the top 25 with Romo/Dez and Luck/Ty left to go (AZR1990). Hoping for a lot of TD connections. Thank you john for setting this up.

18 points is a bust (serious question)?  I would've liked for that TD from Ben to Brown to have held up.

I feel like TE the first weekend is not a deal breaker, no?  There really weren't any good choices and the majority played Olsen.
The real test IMO is picking the lineup for the Championship games...because that lineup sticks for the super bowl...you really have to pick the two teams you think will be in to win don't you?

edit:  Agree on Cantanzaro.

Forsett was killer too with only 3 points.

I'm really pissed at myself for that one.  I had Herron in my lineup here, as well as a FanDuel team, and had the bright idea that I was being stupid for leaving money on the table and I was trying to be too cute, so I switched him for Forsett. :barf:

Man, first the Antonio Brown TD was overturned on replay, then Roethlisberger's TD pass was taken away on a penalty, now Fleener lost a TD on a penalty.

John's in great shape after the first weekend to pay himself.

THIRD place! Alive. Vinitari was the pick of the weekend, I think. Terrence Williams was the pick of the weekend that nobody had. Dez was awful, hurt a lot of people, including me.

Yeah only changes i would have made on my roster were Tate for Dez and Vinatieri for whatever kicker I chose.

I lost points on all three as well. But I'm right there with JohnMD20- tied for 3rd as FrogLefty1.

Thanks for setting this up John!

Divisional selections are available to be made now.  Much tougher choices this time around, IMO.  In the WC round, I picked the exact guys I wanted and they came in under $50.  I find I'm having to make some sacrifices this time around and have to squeeze in a guy or two I don't really feel good about.

Yeah.  I liked my wild card team a lot with minimal thought.  This was much tougher.  I don't much like my selections, but I'm not sure what changes I would like more.

I'm glad you have to make some sacrifices. I feel like the first round salaries weren't high enough.

So get your picks in now. This is the SECOND of three changes you're allowed to make for your roster. I will keep people updated, but I will say it again. After this weekend, the selections you make for the championship weekend are locked through the super bowl. So pick guys you think will win in the championship games.

If you're logged in, there should be a yellow EDIT button to the left of the player name in your lineup.

Scroll up. Have you selected "Divisional"? Or are you still on the "Wild Card" round?

When I click on that it says, "Orange Juiced has submitted picks for the upcoming period but we can't show you what they are until the matchups have started. Check back then to see who Orange Juiced picked!"

But I'm logged in.  So I don't understand….

Try a different browswer. Obviously they have some of your log in information mixed up.

Managed to bring my roster to 49.9 so far - would love to find that last dime somewhere and get it to an even 50.

You must have been looking at Orange Juiced's roster  (I am assuming you are not "Orange Juiced"). You need to go to the top left and select yourself from the "My Entries" pulldown menu.

I'm at an even $50.0.  More out of necessity, because the team I wanted cost about $54, so I had to start paring down.  I think it's easier to get $50 exactly if you work down rather than up.
