Decent foundation to work with though. Just needs to quicken and shorten it up. Still has too much of that ‘12 year old push from the waist’ to it.
Yup. Some kids have funky shots because they don’t have the strength. And then when the strength comes, the form improves. Definitely needs to put some meat on those bones.

That jumper is really smooth.
I'd definitely fix some things with it, but on the whole, pretty good. And quite obviously, he's an elite athlete. Obviously great at football. Can even kick the ball very well (not as well as an NFL punter, but WAYYYYYY better than the vast, vast majority of people). Clearly can play some hoops. And he's a really good golfer too.

And for people who think he's slow at running....I bet he'd smoke 99% of the people in SOSH in a footrace over 40 or 100 yards.

Let's not forget he was drafted in baseball as well.

I feel so deceived. What else have you all been hiding from me?

That is unexpected. He golfs righty. He contains multitudes. Also caught him before Tom Ford. Those parachute sweats are peak early 2000s.

Piggy-backing from another thread...

Brady was considered the "winner" of the great QB group during his time, and Peyton was the "stat" monster.

From 2001-2006...

Brady: 1,895-3,061 (61.9%), 21,558 yds, 7.0 y/a, 147 td, 78 int, 88.4 rating, 70-24 record, 3 SB titles
Manning: 2,117-3,211 (65.9%), 25,299 yds, 7.9 y/a, 190 td, 81 int, 99.1 rating, 66-30 record, 1 SB title, 2 MVPs

Then Brady's stats went through the roof for literally the rest of his career. So Brady has ended his career with both "titles" - biggest winner in NFL history AND the statistically most dominant QB ever. Other QBs have had elite stats, but Brady's stats are right there with anyone that's ever played the sport. PLUS he's by far the biggest winner ever.

Just heard something fun about Brady.

Brady took 15,906 snaps. According to sports researcher Tucker Boynton, he played his entire 23-year NFL career without taking a single snap at which time his team was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Every snap Brady took, he technically still had a chance of getting another Lombardi.

I'm actually not sure this is true. I've heard it repeated many times, but I think it might be false.

He was injured in game 1 in 2008. Otherwise, Brady only missed the playoffs once -- 2002. I think the Patriots were eliminated as soon as the Jets beat the Packers in week 17 and the Patriots game ended after because it went to OT. I might have that wrong, though. I just thought I remember someone else figuring that out the last time the stat got mentioned.

Really, it's just a fancy way to say: Brady only missed the playoffs once in his 22 years, and still had a chance until week 17 that year.

Nah, the Jets game was a 4:15 PM game and the Pats was 1PM. I remember Favre rolling over pretty badly after coming off that high from our game. Pats did win in OT in their game, though. ESPN box scores below regarding the times fwiw.

Dolphins 24-27 Patriots (Dec 29, 2002) Final Score - ESPN

Packers 17-42 Jets (Dec 29, 2002) Final Score - ESPN

Ah, ok. I stand corrected. Yeah, that game was over pretty quickly, for all practical purposes, but fair enough.
