Depends on the contract. My boss had a noncompete and got fired, they still enforced it and he couldn’t work for a year competing with us. I have no idea what a radio contract looks like but it’s very possible. Usually you have to get some sort of equity or bonuses etc if there’s a noncompete but his isn’t a world I am familiar with.

Fred and rich had completely opposite views regarding COVID. That time period definitely exacerbated both of their worst traits. Fred's alcoholism and his relationship with his wife, and Rich's self righteous douchebaggery.
Did they cut all this from the podcasts? Was going back to listen to the early part of the show and it says something about Hardy’s drive for 5 experience and some “frustrating things that took place” but it just cuts right to the beginning of the Hurley interview…

Plenty of creeping on that show without any contribution from Rich. Show definitely worse without him too. Too bad, I don’t even ‘hate’ listen, just catch pods if they have an interesting guest.

I took it as Fred “finally” recalling something that wasn’t about him and Rich and being happy to let someone else share their experience. FTR, Hardy didn’t shy away and if the story as told is accurate, Rich comes off real bad.
Everyone knows Murray’s bald. I’m going with all of the above. It’s amazing how much everyone apparently hated Rich.
I believe one day they got into an argument over EITHER "fred didn't get to work on time because Adolfo didn't wake him up and Fred blamed Adolfo" OR "Fred didn't come to work on time because we had a snow storm in the winter in Massachusetts and Fred didn't wake up early enough to dig out his car/couldn't break through the mound of snow at the end of his driveway"

Came here to agree with you. This week has been great and last week as well. They're hitting their stride, Hardy's bringing content, everyone hates Wallach. It's back.
I hate Weekday Jim Murray more than anyone, but Kendra would be so bad on that show. It'd be awful and even worse. Felger & Mazz would refer to her as a "broad" or a "dame" or a "stupid spoiled child"
I believe the issue Dan had with it was that the inside joke was repeated directly to Kyle Shanahan which caused a headache for Dan.
Just listened and the vibe I got was he was initially very annoyed when it first happened, but isn't really angry or anything anymore, was bringing it up in more of a busting balls, why did you do that to me kinda way.

Yeah, I went and listened. To me that was actually as close to defending Rich as I've heard Fred get. Soder was mad at Rich only and Fred basically said words to the effect of 'you can be mad at me too I told that story on the air'.
Oh yeah he was angry.
That's one thing I definitely don't miss. If you took a shot every time he said Jesus you'd be at MGH on life support before the show ended.

It had to be at least 7-8 years ago, when I had a long commute and would listen to the 7-8 hour pretty much every day. Fred was out, she was in with Rich and she made a remark about how dating sucked or something. Rich ran with it and it devolved into "Let's get Trenni laid!", with him trying to get guys to call in and other Morning Zoo-type crap. It got awkward very quickly. I don't think she's been on since.
Basically Fred used all the details that people are writing off as speculation in a tounge in cheek way that seems to confirm that they are accurate. Pounding a table about a hostile work environment, pulling out a phone to have a 3rd party also say hostile work environment. I clipped the moment on twitch Here.
